Satisfying moments like this, reading the room, building the energy and landing the next track exactly where it needs to be.

One of those little moments nobody else in the room really notices 😂 The entrance didn’t quite unfold as I planned, so I was bouncing between sections of the track to keep the music matching what was actually happening in the aisle. Somehow it all landed perfectly, with the music finishing just as Dad handed his daughter over. Hence the tiny fist pump at the end 😅 Ceremony music definitely isn’t always just pressing play.

One of those beautifully unscripted wedding moments 🥹😂
As the first dance came to an end, the father of the bride grabbed the groom for a huge hug and a kiss, fully claiming his new son-in-law as part of the family.

The bride’s little “okay, that’s enough now” prod made it even better.

Then it was over to me to thank the brilliant Nick Mears for performing the first dance, hype the room, and officially start the party.

And what better way to kick things off than a packed dancefloor jumping along to Mr Brightside?

Real, funny, emotional, chaotic in the best way. Exactly how weddings should be.
