I’ll be bringing Brie, Parma ham and asparagus tarts! I’ve also made some individual ones

Lemon curd shortbread too.

Ice cream milk shakes and iced coffee are on the menu. I’ll be taking chicken/beef pies off for the summer (I have a small amount of chicken and ham tomorrow)

There will be a selection of loaf cakes, gluten free cake, brownies and lots of rock buns!

There will also be meat/vegetable lasagnes, quiche and sausage rolls

NEW ADDITION
I’ll be bringing one of my favourites tomorrow, Brie and asparagus tarts!

Also Biscoff stuffed cookies.

Ice cream milk shakes and iced coffee are on the menu. I’ll be taking chicken/beef pies off for the summer (I have a small amount of chicken and ham tomorrow)

This afternoon we were discussing the origin of homity pie. I thought I’d share what we found out.

Homity pie originated in Devon, England, during World War II. It is widely believed to have been created or popularised by the Women’s Land Army (Land Girls) as a hearty, economical vegetarian dish tailored to wartime rationing, often referred to as "Devon Pie" or "The Devon Pie".
