And of course, a huge thank you again to everyone who came along and made Sunday such a special day. We absolutely loved having you all out there with us and we hope you enjoyed every minute of it.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

🧡 THAT WAS EPIC 🧡

What. A. Day. 🤩

We were absolutely blessed with the weather today and the Quantocks delivered everything we love about this event. Proper trails, some serious climbs, incredible views and a whole lot of happy (and probably slightly tired!) runners. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge thank you to every single person who helped make today happen.

🙏 To every runner who came out and took on the trails with us.
🧡 To all of our professional services who helped keep everyone safe, supported and looked after.
🙌 To our absolutely EPIC event crew who gave up their Sunday to bring the energy, encouragement and good vibes to the trails.
🌿 To the Quantocks team for allowing us to put this event on in such an incredible part of the world.
🏡 And to Kilve Court for providing us with such an awesome venue and welcoming us back for another year.

🦉 RACE DAY IS HERE! 🦉

Today is all about getting out there, enjoying the trails and having an EPIC day in the Quantocks.

This is one of our favourite events to put on. There are some serious trails, a few cheeky climbs and plenty to keep you working, but the views, the trails and the feeling of getting around this course make it all so worth it. 🌲⛰️

Whether you’re here to race, chase a time, soak up the atmosphere or simply enjoy a brilliant morning out with friends, we hope you have an awesome day out there.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the event, our incredible event crew and every single one of you taking on the Quantocks today.

🤩 EVENT SET UP HAS STARTED! 🧡

A fun couple of days getting the route marked, kit organised and everything ready at Kilve Court. Thankfully the weather is looking very different to last year with some lovely conditions today and tomorrow looking pretty awesome too! ☀️

HERE’S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR TOMORROW!
🅿️ Parking opens: 7:10AM
📋 Registration: 7:15AM – 8:45AM
📢 Race briefing: 8:50AM
🏃 Half Marathon start: 9:00AM

Please try to arrive nice and early where possible so you have plenty of time to park, register, get yourself sorted and grab your caffeine fix from the awesome Coffee Blue who will be keeping everyone fuelled with all things coffee! ☕️

Make sure you have everything specified in the pre-race email and please ensure you have downloaded the route to your watch or phone before arriving.

📍 Having the route downloaded is a mandatory requirement for the event, so please don't leave this until Sunday morning!

🧡 TONIGHT AT KILVE COURT
We’ll be welcoming runners and marshals this afternoon who are staying overnight ahead of the race tomorrow. There’ll be some chilled vibes, plenty of pizza and no doubt a bit of music around the fire pit as we get ready for race day.

The trails are ready.
The medals are waiting.
The crew are buzzing.

We cannot wait to welcome you all to the Quantocks tomorrow! 🤩

😎 3 DAYS TO GO UNTIL...

🌲THE QUANTOCK HILLS HALF MARATHON! 🏃

😍We cant wait to welcome you all on the 4th October to enjoy these beautiful trails!

🥳 Huge thanks to everyone who has entered and made this event a sell out, genuinely humbled and appreciate the support with our little trail running company! Our main goal is to encourage more people to be outdoors enjoying the trails and it's amazing to be able to do just that!

🙃 Please do ensure you have read the pre event email which will contain all the information you need for this event - from timings, to kit requirements and the GPX file downloads and everything in-between!

📨 We may take a little longer to respond to emails over the next few days while we get stuck into making sure the event is all set up and ready for you all to enjoy!

🧡THE QUANTOCK HILL HALF MARATHON!

🤓 The final event prep is on with just 1 week to go until we get to see hundreds of you line up, ready to take challenging half marathon around the some of the most epic trails in Somerset!

⛰ Some would say there are 5 major climbs in this event, with a few little ones sprinkled in-between... All 5 big ones, have their own Strava segments and have done since we first began this event.. Its always quite interesting and intriguing to see what times are done on them 😜

🍕 SATURDAY NIGHT = PIZZA NIGHT!

🍕 We’re really excited to have Piaggio Pizza joining us on the Quantocks this year and they’ll be serving up some seriously epic wood-fired pizza on Saturday evening!

🧡 They’ll be with us from around 17:00 until approximately 20:00, so if you’re staying over on the Saturday night, make sure you don’t miss out! Whether you're camping, bringing the van or staying in one of the bunkhouses, it’s the perfect chance to get settled in, grab some food and fuel up before taking on the hills the following morning.

🔥 We’ll hopefully have the fire pit going too if the weather behaves, plenty of runners and marshals hanging around and, as always, lots of good chat and awesome vibes ahead of race day. It’s one of those little bits of Prosper Events magic that makes the weekend feel like more than just a race!

🙌 Fancy helping us out on event day? We’d absolutely love to have you on the team! If you’d like to volunteer and give us a hand on Sunday, you’re more than welcome to stay over on Saturday night too, and we’ll provide you with your pizza as a little thank you for helping us make the event happen. 🧡

🍕 So whether you're joining us to run, volunteering with us or simply making a weekend of it, we're really looking forward to having Piaggio Pizza on board and getting everyone fuelled up for an epic day in the Quantocks!

A LITTLE LOOK AT WHAT'S WAITING FOR YOU...

✨ With just a few weeks to go until we're back on the Quantocks, we thought we'd give you a little taste of what's waiting for you out on the trails!

🏃‍♂️ 13.1 miles of beautiful woodland trails, flowing single-track, open moorland and some absolutely stunning views across the Somerset countryside and towards the coast.

⛰️ There are a few hills thrown in for good measure too, with over 850m of elevation across the route. Some sections will have you working hard, but you'll be rewarded with some pretty epic trails and views along the way!

🌿 You'll head along some of our favourite trails that we've loved running ourselves over the years, it's such a playground up there and we love it!

🙌 Whether you're looking to push yourself, take on your first proper trail half marathon or simply enjoy a brilliant day out with some awesome people, there's plenty to enjoy out there.

🏅 QUANTOCK HILLS HALF MARATHON MEDAL REVEAL! 🦉

✨ With just a few weeks to go until we're all back out on the beautiful Quantocks, I thought it was about time we shared this year's brand new EPIC owl medal with you!

🧡 We absolutely love creating something special for everyone who takes on the Quantock Hills Half Marathon, and I think this year's medal might be one of our favourites yet! It's big, it's chunky and that owl is looking pretty serious about those 850m+ of elevation!

🌿 We're now down to less than 50 entries for this year's event, which is super exciting and honestly a little bit crazy to think about! It won't be long before we're all standing on that start line, heading out onto some of the most beautiful trails the Quantocks have to offer.

🙌 If you'd like to join us and earn yourself one of these pretty epic medals, there's still time to get yourself on the start list! We'd absolutely love to have you with us for another awesome day of trails, good people and plenty of Prosper Events magic.
