On Friday, The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain was treated to a spectacular display from the British Army Band Tidworth at Taunton School. 🎺🇬🇧

Students took front-row seats for an impressive marching band performance featuring familiar favourites including Eye of the Tiger, The Final Countdown, Gold, and Where Is My Husband? ✨

It was a fantastic opportunity for young brass players to witness such high standards of musical excellence up close. Our Activity Camps were also delighted to join in and enjoy the live performance.

A huge thank you to everyone at British Army Band Tidworth and The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain for inspiring the next generation of musicians. 🎶

We've had a weekend full of sport, determination and celebrations with the Senior Regional Tetrathlon Championships! 🏊🎯

As a proud sponsor of this fantastic event, we were delighted to welcome over 100 competitors to Taunton School for swimming and laser shooting competitions, as well as the formal celebration evening. ✨

Tetrathlon combines swimming, laser shooting, running and horse riding, and it has been inspiring to see athletes showcase such skill and versatility across multiple disciplines. As a GB Hub for Modern Pentathlon, we're passionate about supporting athletes as they develop multi-sports. 🏊🎯

To celebrate the weekend's achievements, 250 competitors and supporters came together in our contemporary Densham Suite for a spectacular black-tie dinner prepared by our talented in-house chefs. The evening was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the achievements, sportsmanship and spirit of everyone involved. 🍽

Thank you to everyone who came to visit us at Taunton Flower Show today! 🙌

For anyone coming to the show tomorrow, make sure to stop by our catering van to enjoy egg and bacon, ham salad, chicken salad, and cheese and pickle sandwiches, plus Cajun chicken wraps and hummus wraps, and delicious kid’s boxes including a sandwich, sausage roll, pot of fruit or cookie and a Fruit Shoot. Then for dessert, why not treat yourself to a cream tea in a box?! 🍓

We are delighted to be hosting The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain for their residential this week. 🎶

It has been a pleasure to hear the sound of exceptional brass music resonating across our campus as we welcome around 100 talented young musicians from across Great Britain. ✨

During their stay, the band has been making full use of our classrooms, comfortable boarding houses, Chapel and contemporary dining facilities, while enjoying delicious home-cooked meals prepared by our in-house chefs.

We hope everyone is having a fantastic time with us, developing their musical talents, creating lasting memories, and enjoying all that Taunton School has to offer. 🙌
