Had a mum stop me yesterday to ask why she’d not see much on here from me recently. So Hi! We’re still open! Life’s just been very busy! House Clearance, new puppy, Reno life, secondary school visits, family life, farm jobs, assemblies, baby group, football - It’s a lot! It’s been busy but I’m still here and treats are still out every week Carpenters Hill Farm Shop this week there’s Rocky Road, white chocolate and ginger cookies and school cake! They’re all already delivered. I’m not as good about posting but it’s all out there. This job gives me some flexibility but the content creation ain’t the one for me so just know I’m always working hard but it’s family first and it’s a balence that’s ever shifting. Show some love and let me know if you’ve missed me! Or if you’ve liked your feeds a bit quieter and more profesh! Because lord knows that’s not really my vibe is it!

Fresh flowers don’t wait so this 8 inch Lemon and Elderflower buttercream bloom cake had its finishing photo in the glow of Sunday mornings sunrise. It also went on a little round trip to the church and back to find its owner who had a prior engagement bell ringing(can’t make this up!) but big beautiful cakes are meant to be admired I suppose and she certainly grabbed a lot of attention en route. Congratulations to the happy gardening loving couple who were celebrating 65 years of marriage! 🌹🌸🌼🌺🪻flowers from Nurtured in Norfolk elderflower syrup and cake by me Hannah obvs.

Bit of a different grid vibe to all the florals but I was very happy to do these. Happy Tourney Day to Earlswood Town FC hope you have a great time. These lemon flavour fondant topped biscuits are finished with an edible printed icing top with club livery. All completely edible. All totally delicious. 6 inch flower pot that went out last month. Two layers of sponge and raspberry jam filling with a vanilla buttercream coat and floral top. The whole thing is completely edible. This design was a mix of a few past cakes and a recent bouquet which I was sent as inspiration. Love it when a plan comes together.

Wedding treat table! There’s not much displayed here as it was. So. Hot. In the teepee so most of it headed to the chiller. But I did get this quick snap. The theme was rustic orange and taupe with brown. The flowers included peach tones wild roses, daisy, orange striped tulips and brown and gold two tone allium heads. The tray bakes had caramel and orange themes and featured biscoff blondies, chocolate orange brownie, Rocky Road and caramel school cake. Congratulations to the happy couple! May the road ahead be filled with fun and laughter and a whole lot of love!

This pretty pastel floral topped 6 inch sponge headed out to a special 70th birthday celebration this weekend. A rather hot few hours last night and this morning were spent nursing this in into life with lots of fridge stops in between flowers. From start to finish it took far longer but considering the heat I’m pleased with how it turned out.

Thank you teacher time! It’s begun! I’ll be in touch about the coolest day next week to do a mass pick up! Stay cool out...
