Macleays Spectre stick insects are one of my favourite insects in the reptile room and it's not hard to see why!

We wanted to thank you all for our busiest summer yet, lots of events and parties and new faces and followers. We've enjoyed every second and while we're all very tired, we'd do it again in a heartbeat! 💚

Our animal parties are designed to be fun, exciting and unforgettable — but they’re also about so much more than entertainment.

Through hands-on experiences and learning, we show children that snakes aren’t scary, insects aren’t gross, and animals that are often misunderstood deserve our respect and curiosity.

Every giggle, every question and every brave little hand reaching out to touch an animal is an opportunity to teach something meaningful.

Because when we make learning fun, we can inspire the next generation to see wildlife differently — with curiosity instead of fear, respect instead of disgust, and a genuine desire to learn more. 💚
