Blooming Events Blooming Events provide creative art and craft workshops for the community. Hello and welcome!

Blooming Events provide a range of creative, inspirational and fun activities for children and the wider community in doing so one of our objectives is to contribute to the regeneration of Talgarth working closely with the Talgarth & District Regeneration Group amongst others. A partnership between Primary Teacher and artist Kate Thompson and Designer & Photographer Ann Dierikx, Blooming Events

will host a wide variety of
children's workshops, cultural experiences and fun family events throughout the year, we have worked with and been supported by the renowned Tabernacle venue in Regent Street, Talgarth, completing a huge community mural on display in the Towns Town Hall. Ann and Kate are experienced events and workshop organisers and also have extensive combined experience in teaching and parenting young children, both have CRB/DBS clearance. In addition to the blooming events calendar, they are also happy to design bespoke events, such as birthday parties for Primary aged children involving art & craft, story telling or drama. We can also host other cultural events and have experience with marketing and PR. Exciting news, Kate is teaching down in Glastonbury, Somerset. However there is a possibility that these session will be available in Talgarth. Please message us if you are interested in your child taking part in Creative Visualisation followed by art and sculpture workshops about what they have imagined.

Creative Souls Club

Led by primary teacher and artist Kate Thompson, the Club is open to children from 8-12 years old and will run from 10.00am-4.00pm on both days. The paintings, collage and sculpture activities will begin on Thursday and be completed on the Friday so children need to attend both days.

For your child to attend please book on the telephone or email Kate.

What a fantastc workshop yesterday. We were kindly invited to work at Talgarth Mill in the Granary Room which is available for hire. We had 14 lovely talented children who made Easter bags, cards and pen holders. Thank you to all who took part and made such wonderful objects! Ann and Kate x
