“Enough is enough. I need to start prioritising me.”

These were the exact words my client Kate said to me before we worked together to accomplish this amazing transformation.

Kate had all the obstacles in her way:

Time
Money
Motivation
Stress

She was stuck on the hamster wheel of life trying to juggle everything but not leaving much time for herself.

Poor diet habits, fitness non existent and constantly tired, lacking energy.

It seemed counterintuitive to be hitting the gym when she was already struggling with energy levels.

But she knew something had to change.

She knew she had to prioritise her health and that she had to start with prioritising time for herself.

The main thing kate struggled with was snacking at home/in the office.

Our first point of call was hitting protein to help her stay fuller for longer.

Being vegan this was harder to achieve but we worked together to build a list of foods that she loved and were high in protein for her to turn to.

Long days at the office also meant Kate really struggled for time for her workouts.

We implemented a training strategy that meant she was in and out of the gym within an hour.

Kate now has:

More energy
Better stress management
Better fitness and strength
Better health overall

She managed all of this whilst running her own business.

She made it work because she knew she had had enough of the excuses she was letting get in her way.

MACHINE OF THE WEEK 🤩💪🏻🏋🏻‍♂️

Even though it’s predominantly women I coach I can’t forget to mention the dedicated, hard working men I get to coach too ☺️

Dan is no exception!

And even if our sessions together do tend to go a little sideways talking about the impact of modern technology (🤣),

Dan has been putting in the graft for the last 4 years and some of the improvements he has made in that time have been incredible.

We’ve hit PBs on almost every lift,
refined our technique on the Oly lifts,
Improved fitness and stamina,
And gained better strength and coordination overall.
Pull ups have been nailed 💪🏻
And he has made an insane transformation!

He MAY even have a new found love of lunges 😳….well probably not but you can’t have it all, we still need things to work on hey?

Progress and results don’t always have to be aesthetic based, they also don’t have to always be about performance either,

The great thing is Dan came to me with just a general goal of improving his health and staying active for his family. The above just happened as a secondary bonus!

We might be closing in on the second half of the year but I can sense some great things in the pipeline for Dan in the rest of 2026, and I can’t wait to be a part of it 🤩

Don’t be afraid of hard work.

What comes easy won’t last long, and what lasts long won’t be easy.

There is never a quick fix.

If the structure to your house was falling apart you wouldn’t get a quick fix, you’d spend time effort and money on ensuring you build solid foundations that you can live in...it should be the same for your body.

Invest the same amount of time and effort into bettering yourself and your body 💜

Do you find it hard to commit to a training or diet plan long enough to truly see results?

Do you let others progress cloud your judgement on how far you have come on your own, constantly comparing yourself and questioning if the program works?

Do you struggle with the all or nothing mentality so that when you’re unable to give 100% you give up altogether?

This was Ange.

Ange would always start out with lots of motivation, killing her workouts and super strict on nutrition.

However the moment she was unable to stick to any of the above, she would throw the towel in and self sabotage.

She would continuously compare her progress to others, feel deflated and would give up.

And believe me when I say it would have been so easy for her to just quit so many times.

Injuries, personal circumstances and life get in the way and whilst it’s all normal it would send Ange’s head into a downwards spiral.

We have worked really hard together on Ange’s mindset.

Celebrating all the wins no matter how small.

One thing that’s really worked well for Ange is having that accountability outside of her friends and family.

This is where having an online coach has really helped her.

Helped her to keep pushing and navigate through all the little nuances of life.

Helped her keep on track to her goals.

We are only one month in to Anges diet phase after a much needed maintenance phase but already we are starting to see big improvements.

MACHINE OF THE WEEK 💜🏋🏻‍♀️💪🏻

Another week, another strong woman 😍
This week’s crown goes to long standing client, Katarzyna who never fails to amaze me with her attitude, determination and commitment to keeping herself strong, fit and healthy.

Whatever your goal, exercise is for everyone.

We keep Kat’s sessions fun, varied and filled with the things she loves (🏋🏻‍♀️) as well as the things we need to work on (🧘🏻‍♀️).

Kat moved back to Poland this year, and although I’m gutted I don’t get to see her face to face on a weekly basis, I know she will still be smashing it from afar 💪🏻

I asked Kat what keeps her coming back and she said, “we have to keep moving, we have to keep moving so we don’t get sick.” A pretty important point if you ask me! 👏🏻

We spend our time congratulating and admiring those with "perfect" bodies on social media, and while the hard work and dedication to get such a body is certainly admirable, let's not forget the rest of us who still work DAMN hard to improve ourselves but have more than just a body to offer.

It's a fantastic feeling to better yourself but you are so much more than the body you're in...it doesn't define who you are as a person or how hard you work.

Celebrate every flaw, every curve and be thankful you have a HEALTHY functioning body that is going to enable you to do what you want and help or inspire others!

Curvy, slim, athletic…love your body 💖
