Motivation won’t always be there.

However…

Having a coach in your corner can really help you to push through the motivation dips & keep you accountable towards your goals.

Because everything has been done for you.

The guesswork has been eliminated & you don’t have to worry about whether you’re doing the “right” thing.

They will work with you & your individual needs, because let’s be honest life WILL throw the curveballs to derail your efforts.

There’s a reason you might have tried & failed multiple times when going it alone.

And a lot of the time it’s not your fault.

Because knowing what to do is one thing….google has all the information you need for free of course.

Apps, influencers all claiming the same results, which may work if you are willing to stick them long enough…

BUT

The missing link to achieving any great result & keeping it long term is individuality & a real human supporting you.

Because your life, your struggles, your limitations are unique to you.

It can become too easy to quit & give up when the going gets tough & sticking to a set meal plan/workout that may work for thousands of others, all of a sudden feels too overwhelming to stick to.

This was Annie.

We have had injuries amongst other personal circumstances blow up in her path.

She has openly admitted that whenever this has happened before she would just quit on herself & throw in the towel.

Instead we have worked together to make everything more manageable & keep her accountable even when motivation was at an all time low.

One of the things we implemented was to set some non negotiable’s for her week at the gym or with her nutrition.

We did these as a minimum, then if she felt like she could give more on some weeks, she would.

Taking this holistic approach & daily communication has meant that:

Measurements are down.
She’s still enjoying her training.
She’s more confident in her clothes.

Because she had a coach in her corner, supporting her & keeping her accountable.

If you are done moulding yourself into a plan that won’t work for you forever then DM me “Annie” & let’s get your individual plan started today 💪🏻

MACHINE OF THE WEEK 😍💜💪🏻

Let’s take a moment to congratulate *Kelly on her amazing progress, yes, but also a moment to appreciate that this lady has trusted not only in me but in herself.

I think we can all agree believing and trusting in yourself can actually be super difficult at times, especially when you have doubts you are even capable of achieving the goals you have in mind.

She took a leap of faith when deciding to work with me last summer, a stranger on the internet to her…I could have been a psychopath 🤣

But I am SO glad she did 🥰

She finally decided she had had enough of poor body image and low confidence holding her back. She reached out and we got to work.

She never missed a check in.
She never missed a call.
She ALWAYS had a back up plan.
She remained CONSISTENT.

And the above result was achieved by her actioning all the above but also trusting in me, herself and more importantly, making herself a priority.

Her goal last year was to get into size 10 jeans which she absolutely smashed in the run upto Christmas! And this year we have had some really exciting performance goals on the cards.

And I know *kelly will smash every single one of them 🤩 here’s to an amazing 2026 together machine 🫶🏻

When you look at exercise as nothing more than a weight-loss tool, it's easy to skip workouts and become disengaged.

But if you look at exercise as a way of taking care of your mental health and mood, an opportunity to create the best self for your future self, where there are no limitations due to lack of movement.

The fitness industry pins so much of its success on the aesthetics but really what we should focus on is how good exercise is for the mind, body and soul 💜

Let me ask you something… If we had a peek at your screen time what would we see?”

Because for most of us, it’s not a lack of time holding us back… it’s what we’re prioritising.

And this isn’t about guilt, it’s about awareness.

You say you want to feel stronger, more confident, more in control of your health…

But your actions have to start lining up with that.

You don’t need hours in the gym, a perfect plan, or motivation every day.

You just need to decide that your health matters enough to show up for it.

Before you scroll… guess the weight difference between these photos.

Got a number in mind? Good.
Ready for the answer?

👉 There’s virtually NO difference on the scale.

In fact, some weeks Roisin’s weight was slightly up — and that’s the power of body composition 👏

I speak to so many women who say they want to lose weight and tone up…
But what they actually want is to build muscle — because that’s what changes your shape 💪

Roisin was already active, smashing her steps and going to classes.

What changed the game?

➡️ A proper weight training program
➡️ More structure with her nutrition

This isn’t about saying the scale doesn’t matter — it’s one tool, but context is everything.

If your goal is general fat loss & you need to lose 10+kg for health reasons, then yes the scale might move.

But if you’re already relatively light and want to lean out… you might not need to lose much weight at all.

It’s about changing your composition — building muscle, dropping body fat — to get that strong, fit, toned look.

And that is achieved through resistance training and eating the right amounts to support your composition goals.

So if you feel ‘slim’ but not quite happy with your shape, the answer might not be a big calorie deficit…
It might be smart training + structured nutrition.

Need help with that?

You Can Have It All… But Not All at Once

If you’re in perimenopause and saying ‘I just want to lose fat, feel energetic, and balance my hormones’ — I hear you.

And honestly?

You can have it all…
…but not all at once.

I know it’s tempting to want it all — fat loss, energy, hormonal balance, strength, confidence — and fast.

But during perimenopause, your body’s working harder than ever behind the scenes.

That means trying to do everything at once?
Usually leads to burnout… not results.

When you focus on fat loss too hard — fasting, under-eating, quick fixes — you sacrifice energy, muscle, and hormone health.
But when you only focus on wellness, you might feel good… but get frustrated that your body isn’t changing.

So here’s what I ask my clients:

What matters MOST right now?
→ Is it more energy and stable moods?
→ Is it finally seeing your body change?
→ Is it building strength and confidence?

You can still have all of it — just not all at the same time.
We phase it, based on what your body needs now.

So if you’re stuck in that “I want it all” loop — let’s chat.

I’ll help you figure out where to start and what to let go of — for now.

DM me ‘CLARITY’ and I’ll help you map out your next step.

MACHINE OF THE WEEK 💜💪🏻🏋🏻‍♀️

Meet Jan, she is a true warrior 🤩💜

And she will absolutely hate me doing this appreciation post but she definitely deserves all the recognition for the hard graft she’s put into the gym over the last couple of years.

Like most women her age, she had shied away from the weights room, believing that it was only for the men and that she was “too old” to take up weight training.

However, fast forward 3 years later and even despite a knee injury, she is now lifting weights she never thought capable. Including adding dumbbells to her lunges which she never thought possible given her knee.

Over the last 8 years she has attended a regular Bupa health check. Up until recently there haven’t been any significant changes but during her most recent visit, her doctor asked her what she had been doing differently.

And this was because her muscle mass had increased on her DEXA scan but also her Cholesterol and blood pressure decreased.

Jan has always been active and taken care of her nutrition so she could only put it down to the implement of resistance training.

This is such an important message for all, I think most of us get into exercise initially for the aesthetics but really it’s our health we need to focus on.

I can’t wait to watch Jan continue to smash it in the weights room this year 🤩 move over boys!

Don’t make your life so busy that you forget to live.

We get so swept up in the weekly task list, prioritising work when sometimes all we need to do is stop, take a second and live for the moment.

Remember we work to live.
We don’t live to work.
