This week sees the start of our HAF workshops ☺️

Does anyone have any play dough or play dough accessories they’d be willing to donate to us? We’d also ideally like some figures, Barbie’s, animals or cars for the children and also some reading books, puzzles and games

🧸 Can you help us make the school holidays amazing? 🎨

We are running the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, providing free activities and healthy meals to children eligible for free school meals, this includes families on low income, young carers and children with an allocated social worker to name a few. To make this break extra special, I’m asking for a little help 🙏🏻 (To be totally transparent we do receive payment from the government for these spaces but the payment has to stretch a long way)

We are looking for donations of new or gently used items, including:

⚽ Sports gear: Footballs, cones, skipping ropes, and hula hoops.
🎨 Art supplies: Paintbrushes, colouring books, pens, crayons, play dough, craft paper, etc
🧩 Games: Complete board games, puzzles, etc
🧸 Clean toys like Barbie dolls, cars, building bricks etc

Every donation directly helps a child experience a fun fulfilled summer holiday.

If there are any businesses that would like to sponsor us by donating towards fresh fruit we’d be very grateful. Or if anyone would like to bake healthy snacks that we could give to the children that too would be amazing. I’m also looking for clean jars that we can use to make ‘kindness jars’ and we’re also going to make well being journals - if anyone would like to help with this or donate towards them I’d be so grateful.

I’m very keen to not just offer a holiday club but to give them an experience. And well being is just so important at the moment 🩷

It’s been a crazy week! We’ve hosted parties throughout the week and then all day Saturday and Sunday and to say it’s been warm is an understatement 🥵 I can safely say I’m bloody shattered

We had some really lovely parties this weekend ❤️ I know I say it a lot but I’m so grateful for the job I do. I’m truly blessed.

Thank you to everyone who chose us to host their parties and a huge thank you to my staff because working with children in this heat is no easy task as I’m sure every teacher will agree 😂

Now to have some time with this gorgeous boy before I put some TV on and fall asleep before it’s even started 😂

Playing roleplay with him takes me back to the ‘Toddler Town’ days 🥹

Here’s to the last couple of days before schools out and all hell breaks loose 🤪😂😂

Last thing you need after the busy summer holidays is having to arrange a birthday party so why not leave it to us!

We still have spaces in September which means you get to enjoy the summer holidays and all you have to worry about is finding their school uniform before all the sizes you need sell out 🙄😂😂

OUR BRAVE BEAR WORKSHOP IS NOW AVAILABLE TO BOOK 🤎🐻

Would you like to create a lasting memory before they start school? If so our ‘Brave Bear’ workshop is the perfect opportunity to do so.
🧸
You will join us and create a ‘brave bear’ as their first friend for school. Together you will make your bear, you’ll decorate a T shirt as his school uniform and then you’ll decorate a teddy bear fairy cake. The children will then enjoy a teddy bear picnic with their new friends whilst you enjoy tea and cake. We will then all listen to a story about starting school.

These workshops have been a huge success in years gone by and they have worked really well for children that might feel slightly nervous about ‘big school’

The feedback we received about these is always amazing. Every year once the workshops are done and dusted and people start putting social media posts on about the workshops I am I inundated with requests to do more dates! So please don’t miss the opportunity!

Prices are £32 per child with one accompanying adult (additional adults £3.50 each) price includes lunch for the children, a 16 inch bear with a T shirt, fairy cake decorating and tea and cake for adults. As always there will be the special party warehouse touches 😉

I’m so desperate to find myself a self contained building but it just seems near impossible in Swindon. I seem to have more luck when I look outside of Swindon!

If by any slim chance anyone does have any connections with a landlord that might have a suitable building please let me know 🙏🏻

This weekend was full of parties and I have to admit with the extreme weather conditions I was slightly dreading the weekend. I know I’m not responsible for the weather and I can’t remove the sun from the sky but I always worry that the parties won’t be as enjoyable but this weekend we had the most understanding parents who were all just so lovely 🙌🏻 They were so thankful and appreciative and that means the world to me and my staff 🩷

Once the weekend was over I have to admit I was shattered but I decided to squeeze in a bit of admin and this was the first message I opened 🥹🩷

In a world where we seem to be quick to reflect on the bad and neglect the good I’m always so grateful when people take the time to send a message or leave a review. The kind words really do give us a boost ☺️
