Love, relationships and mistaken identity. Twelfth Night is Shakespeare’s bittersweet romantic comedy where no-one is quite who they seem.

Shipwrecked on an unknown shore, Viola is separated from her twin brother Sebastian. She thinks he’s dead. He thinks she’s dead. And everyone else has no idea which one’s which.

Viola embraces a secret new identity by disguising herself as a boy to work for the Duke Orsino. She falls in love with him, but he’s already in love with Olivia. Olivia then falls for Viola thinking she’s Sebastian.

Who’s who? Who’s in love with who? Confusion, misdemeanour and farce abound in this fast-paced comedy full of gender and sexual ambiguity, where none of the characters really know what’s going on!

Twelfth Night promises to be a highly entertaining show, with outstanding performances and amazing new music performed by Changeling’s talented and versatile cast.

Check out what's happening in Old Town this month🤩

People have this week been enjoying summer evenings of al fresco food and drink on Devizes Road in Old Town this week, following the road’s closure to allow Wales & West Utilities to begin a gas pipe upgrade.

Local businesses are using sections of the road outside their premises for customer seating areas, having been issued with free temporary pavement licences.

The Old Town Business Association has organised a series of ‘Sunday Socials’ across August. Each date will see a themed event delivered directly on the closed stretch of road and Wood Street:

• Sunday (3 August): Family Festival with funfair rides, children’s arts and crafts, chalk art installations and live acoustic music.
• Sunday, 17 August: Beer & Country Music Festival with craft beer bars, outdoor games and a line-up of Americana and folk bands.
• Sunday, 31 August: Old Town’s Street Foods Festival will expand onto Devizes Road for the first time, featuring global cuisine, live music, artisan traders and a carnival atmosphere

Rock The Tots at the Town Gardens Bowl, Swindon, that was due to take place tomorrow at 11am and 2pm, has been postponed due to announcement of a yellow weather warning and the forecast of thunderstorms during the performance times.
