All the ruffles, I love these Cosmos. If you have soace in your garden grow a couple next year, they will give you hundreds of flowers for very little work.

I have a morning of prepping for tomorrow evenings pop-up outside the .vintage .magpie fashion show including cutting a few of these beauties. Then we're off to a lovely friends for a sleepover and a lot of catching up. Can't wait.

Garden gathered summer in a bowl.
Dahlias Edinburgh and Queen of the Night (2 of the few the slugs have left alone!), Japanese anemone, foraged hazel and these beautiful Cosmos grown by at our allotment.

This was absolute therapy to make and some much needed time to switch off after days full of the demands of my wonderful but exhausting little people. Anyone else find the summer holidays beautiful but exhausting in equal measure?

Last week I was lucky enough to help out with this beautiful wedding. Lauren and her bridesmaids look absolutely gorgeous. Lauren chose her daisy and yellow scheme which was utterly perfect dor this time in July. All the flowers were grown by Charlotte and arranged by the brides Auntie (a teacher and one time florist) with a little help from me. I had the honour of making the bridesmaids bouquets. Today marks the final day of our Friday flowers. From the bottom of my heart thank you to every single one of you who have supported me in my journey so far.
It has been a real priviledge to share heart-felt messages and to bring a little bit of flowery joy into your homes as sustainably as I could. I have loved meeting lots of you and hope to meet more of you in future floral adventures.
I'll be a little bit quieter on here for a while, maybe sharing a few pictures of my creations through the summer.

Elegant ammi majus grown a few miles down the road who have kept us topped up with an incredible array of local flowers this year.

There are so many benefits of buying local; smaller carbon footprint from both travel and production, healthier for you and the planet (no chemical use), keeping our pollinators happy and there is just so much variety and beauty that you won't find in he supermarket.

Initially I was worried that without the pesticides they wouldn't last, but every week lovely customers send me pictures proving my worries to be unfounded.

3 days until our pop-up flower stall outside the wonderdul .magpie. Come and visit from 10am this Saturday for some delicious food or coffee from the cafe and pick yourself or a friend a beautiful bunch of British blooms from our cart outside, or a jar of joy. The weather forecast is improving too!

Exciting News. The wonderful people .magpie in Wood Street have very kindly agreed to let me set up a flower cart outside their establishment. I am beyond excited and extremely nervous too!

Good evening. There have been a few new followers recently so thought I should introduce myself. I'm Sarah, part-time primary teacher, new florist and Mum to 3 little ones.

My aim with Miss Bramble is to bring a little bit of joy in celebrating the floral treasures of the season in as sustainable a way as I can manage.

As a flower lover, I was always frustrated that I couldn't find local, affordable flowers wrapped without plastic and so I started to look for other options. This quickly uncovered some deeply worrying practices that explain why some supermarket blooms are often so cheap, with horrendous chemical use affecting growers, land and water.

I use British flowers, sustainable techniques learnt from the very clever , sustainable packaging and grow as much as I can depite a distinct lack of green fingers. You won't find anything treated wih chemicals, or any plastic, but you may find the odd ladybird. If you have any suggestions to help me keep improving just let me know.

Flowers for the weekend available for the next 7 Fridays and a very exciting collaboration next weekend which I will tell you more about tomorrow!
