Tri Ferris Promotions

Most of you will know by now that I have decided to retire from race organising after 30 years; initially with 220 magazine and then from 2000 as Tri Ferris Promotions. The Big Swim events will still be going ahead in the safe hands of Ciaran and David Alstowe. For those who don't know them - David is the one with the loud voice who encourages everyone at the end of the Big Swims and his son Ciaran; organiser of the very popular Royal Wootton Bassett Triathlon.

Big thanks to all those who supported our events over the years, my family and I have met some lovely people in that time, from international athletes to first timers and the many volunteers, we still hope to see you around at the races!

Congratulations to all those who completed the Big Cotswold Swim June 1km and 2km this morning. Overall winner in the 2km was Geoff Twinning from Gloucester in 24:53, with Gloucester Masters Hanna Paull taking the female trophy in 26:54. Whilst in the 1 km youth Maisie Rackham-Wood was first to cross the line in 14:09, with Gwilym Evans of Bowmoor Swimmers taking the male prize in 15:05. The 2km Team trophy (top 3 to count) was won by Phil Kibble Coaching

A few spaces available for Big Swim 1 June. Late entries please arrive at Lake 86 by 7.50am. Races start from 8.30am 1km and 8.40am 2 km
