Hey all groovy people ☀️ we have had an eventful few months and have made a lot of changes! Our wonderful florist Mel is taking a break from flower life for now (except for the weddings) and we will sadly not be operating as The Bloom Room from now on.

Do not fear, I said there were changes and changes there will be! Myself (Moll) and the fantabulous woman Lizzie Walshaw from have combined our skills with the wonderful Josh Summit Good to welcome onto the scene, Petallica Ltd! 🤘🏼✌🏼Our new project will be all about using local, naturally grown flowers exclusively grown at our sister organisation in Dunvant - . We’re so excited and passionate about this as unfortunately we’ve watched the way the flower industry has been going the past few decades and we really don’t want to contribute to the increasing air miles, chemical growing techniques, mono-cropping and single use packaging and waste being produced. It’s time to make a change.

Our Facebook and Instagram will slowly shift with the new branding, but we will be dropping some material soon where you can meet the team and get to know what we do!

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all for being fantastic customers and sticking with us through all these changes. We hope that you will be patient with us whilst we start this new journey and just know things will be run slightly differently to The Bloom Room 😁

Hi all,

Sorry if this is coming as a shock to you all. we have made a difficult decision to temporarily close the shop for orders and will not be taking any future orders/ weddings for the time being. We are taking this time to have a break and get on the mend 💔 Any current orders will be made and weddings are still in the books.

We hope you understand, and know that this post is coming from sad hearts, but we will be updating you soon.

Little update on the website

Our website is still showing our hatboxes as sold out as we are waiting for them to come back in stock after being sold out completely across the UK (😱) we do have limited stock of larges left if you would like to order a hatbox however. Our aqua-packs, wraps and baskets are still available to order as normal on there and we are hoping to get our spring stock on there as soon as 💐

🌸Mother’s Day 🌸

We’ve been quiet on here for a few days, and we just wanted to put up a post to update you all!

First all thank you so much for all the love and support, and lovely get well soon messages, I have spent the week catching up with back log and other orders after what we described as the weekend from hell lol 💕💕

Mother’s Day weekend taught us many things,

1. Having a business is amazing and making people smile is quite literally the best
2. Being a super small team is great, but when things get so busy, it becomes a challenge and this weekend showed us our limits
3. No ones perfect, after a great Saturday, Sunday became a bit of nightmare, having started the weekend off with delayed deliveries from our suppliers meant that we were a day and a half behind making, along with other issues basically dominoed and Sunday meant that we physically didn’t have the time or strength and could do not deliver a handful of orders towards the end! This meant letting down wonderful customers, and calling with the sad news (and a LOT of tears from us) which is something that we have never done before
4. We’re human, despite the amount of lovely orders and happy faces (times the video by 3 for Sunday) that we saw delivering on the weekend, despite our successes and moments we should be proud of, the thought of these handful of orders that we didn’t get to deliver on Sunday hung over us and made us feel like we failed even after the busiest and most successful weekend we’ve ever had as a business
5. Things happen, you learn and move on 💕 everyone makes mistakes, we now know when to say no and know how much we can actually do (with 4 hours sleep)

We hope this message is helpful to everyone, from our lovely customers and to our loyal friends and fellow business owners, and fellow florist friends.

Business is hard, but it’s also the most rewarding thing ever.

We will never be able to express our gratitude and love for how much you all continue to support us,
