Join us for an afternoon of music and song for the first event of Waunarlwydd Carnival 2025. We have a host of performances from our fabulous Cor Waunarlwydd, local schools and community groups, and the newly formed Waunarlwydd RFC Male Choir. Hosted by our compère Rhodri Lewis.

Bring a chair & a picnic, plus a bar and BBQ will be available to purchase from on the day.

💷 Please note: all events will be cash only to ensure every single penny we receive goes to support local charities.

The Countdown is on to Waunarlwydd Carnival 2025!

Here is the line up for Carnival week this year.

We kick off on Sunday 13th July with Proms on the Pitch, an afternoon of music and song on the Waunarlwydd RFC Pitch with local choirs, groups and schools taking part. On Monday we have our fabulous Horse Race Night at Waunarlwydd Rugby Club. Tuesday is the Treasure Hunt, starting and finishing at Arms Waunarlwydd. On Wednesday, head to the Football Field for 5:30pm for the football tournament, then back to The Mason's Arms - Waunarlwydd for presentation & 'Rock n Roll' bingo. Thursday is the annual Carnival Quiz, hosted by quizmaster Paul Schunaman at Waunarlwydd RFC.

We end with Carnival Day on Saturday, 19th July. The procession will leave from The Masons at 12pm, then we have a host of events, stalls, games & music at Waunarlwydd RFC from 12:30pm onwards!

We had a fabulous time celebrating 60 years of Côr Waunarlwydd at our anniversary concert last night at St. Catherine’s Gorseinon.

Côr Plant Waunarlwydd, our Children’s choir, was formed in 1965 by the amazing Davida Lewis and some members of Côr Waunarlwydd singing last night were there right at the start!

A massive thank you to Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Y Login Fach, Ysgol Gyfun Gŵyr, Penyrheol Comprehensive School and Gowerton School for their brilliant performances and to everyone who came to support the concert! 🎶

Our practice was at St Catherine’s Church Gorseinon yesterday evening, ready for our 60th Anniversary Concert there on Friday 20th June at 7pm. 🎶

The concert will also include performances from local schools - Ysgol y Login Fach, Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr, Penyrheol Comprehensive School and Gowerton School. Hope to see you there. 🎶
