When I first heard from Meg I was on my favourite Greek Island of Naxos. Little did we realise, as we chatted in 2019, their ‘pre-covid and no-children’ wedding wouldn’t happen as the wedding industry came to a grinding halt the following March. Fast forward to wedding-date number 4 and Meg & Jake tied the knot with their daughter watching.
While couples across the UK were lethargic about planning and thinking of their wedding, Meg and Jake took it in their stride, their mantra was very much ‘it’ll happen one day’. You see, Meg and Jake are childhood sweethearts, they met through a mutual friend and are so relaxed in each other’s company they wanted to marry when they could have the celebration they believed their family and friends would enjoy.
