6 years ago today on Cinco de Mayo, we launched Cwtchitas into the world thanks to & (big love as always) That’s right amigos, we’ve been slinging tacos for a full 6 years and we cannot believe it!

Today also marks 3 years of being at our home . You can catch our OG menu item - pork pibil - back on the menu!

We’d just like to say a massive gracias to all the other businesses we have worked with over the 6 years, everyone who has helped us, our amazing team, our main man Kal, Chris, Issie and Elisa (and the many helping hands who’ve been roped in along the way 👀) and of course to our amazing customers who have seen us through ups, downs and a global pandemic. We wouldn’t be here without you ❤️ we are eternally grateful.

They see me rollin’ they hatin’

It’s national burrito day! We rolling out the freshest in Swansea. We make our fillings from scratch, right down to the coconut and guajillo marinade we put on our fresh juicy pulled chicken thigh. It takes 50 guajillo chillies to make just one batch, and we get them straight from Mexico!

¡Hola! At Cwtchitas we are wife and wife team Sara & Jordan. That's us there on the right, clearly living our best lives.

We usually trade out of our beloved trailer - Frida, who can be quite the handful sometimes! There she is below, looking dazzling.

We picked her up in December 2018 and after some much-needed TLC, she was ready for action! Our aim was for her to look like we just dragged her off a street in Distrito Federal, Mexico - we think we just about got that right!

Our other aim is to bring you tacos that taste that way too. Capturing the passion, authenticity and flavours of the world’s greatest street food culture is our mission - and we can’t wait for you to try our take on Mexico’s legendary antojitos (“little cravings”).
