NEWS!!

We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, sorry about that. But we’ve been doing a lot of planning and thinking, and so we wanted to update you on our latest news.

We have decided not to continue with our weekly deliveries (sorry about that!) but instead to focus our time on other avenues.

Keep your eyes peeled and we will let you know about the events, pop-ups, supper clubs, market stalls that we will be focussing on.

So if you are holding an event or a party, or have lots of people coming to stay for Christmas, get in touch and we can take the hard work out of hosting.

We are open to ideas, so if you’ve enjoyed our food, please get in touch and we can chat about how we can get it to you!

Could there be a more beautiful spot to go blackberry picking? I think not! What a treat today that the sun has finally come out and at the end of a rainy summer it was much welcomed, Yesterday was such a contrast that we stayed in and made cake, poppy seed and lemon drizzle, as drizzle it was. Hopefully after another week of sun those berries will be bursting and although it’s too early to mention full on crumble and custard, let’s ease our way into Autumn with a bit of crumble cake! ‘scuse the hair but a sea dip just had to happen

My sister arrived today with some fantastic home-grown tomatoes and courgettes, and half a packet of filo pastry. So lunch was a tart with a base of goats curd, parmesan, lemon and herbs, with griddled courgettes, and tomatoes, finished with fresh basil and a bit more parmesan. Absolutely delicious 😊

And what a heavenly treat of an overnight stay we’ve just had.

The perfect, peaceful room with a view of hills and cows, and delicious, delicious food in the relaxing and uplifting dining room.

It turns out that I’m rubbish at taking photos of food (too greedy, I just want to dive in!), but we started with really great Wye Valley gin from while we checked out the menu. And then we gorged on fish soup, panzanella salad, lamb meatballs and roast belly with aubergine and hummus, and a classic burger with potato bun. All so delicious and such a treat.

If you haven’t ever been to The Hardwick, do go. You will eat great food in gorgeous surroundings, what more can you ask for?!

It’s pie weather again!! Not best pleased with the grey skies at the mo, but it is a chance to gather around the table have a catch, or sit in the sofa and just put a spoon into one of our dishes. We have a limited amount of Shepherds and Beef and Ale pies left from our Winter menu, with 20% off. Orders in by tomorrow for Friday delivery

Potato and rosemary pizza cooked on our favourite new toy, the pizza oven, with a trio of salads including broad beans, beetroot, French beans, basil and parsley all from the brilliant just up the road in Lunnon.
All eaten outside in a surprise sunny evening. Bliss.

New Stockist Alert!! Dunvant Farm Shop is stocking our pies !!! I say pies, I mean all kinds of deliciousness from Lasagne to Meatball suppers and always and forever Chicken pie. Just visited the farm shop , full of delicious inspiring Gower produce, much of which are in our dishes. Beautiful!!
