Food is powerful stuff, it can bring people together, make people happy – even help people fall in love. Food should always be special, food shared with friends and family even more so. Real food should be uplifting, full of soul and joy. We spend almost all our time around food, growing it, hunting it, foraging for it, pulling it out of the sea, preparing it and eating it. The best produce and food in Britain comes from Dorset and we want to cook with the best of the best.

This week we had the pleasure of working in a stunning venue in Sandbanks for a company shooting for an advert.

15 hungry cast and crew wanted a BBQ inspired menu including corn on the cob, chicken, sausages and halloumi as well as having a couple of vegetarians who had harissa roasted butternut and BBQ jackfruit.

It was great to work with these clients in an incredible setting.

This is why we do what we do! You never quite know what you are going to walk into!

It's been a busy weekend to end of a very busy week.

We kicked our weekend off at an intimate wedding in Worth for an amazing couple. They moved their venue last minute as the weather was so lovely to the grounds of their own cottage. We think it was an amazing idea as it worked perfectly for them and their 40 guests.

They kicked off with canapes and drinks in the garden before moving to the tables for 2 courses starting with Dorset charcuterie boards. This was followed with spatchcock chicken and BBQ salmon. Accompanied by mango salsa, tomato salad and greek salad.

They then enjoyed drinks and Purbeck ice cream. We were even treated to a beautiful sunset behind woodhenge on our way out in the evening.

They then enjoyed a BBQ and freshly baked quiches with family on Saturday.

We love that we were able to help with moving venues and were still able to give the happy couple everything they wanted.

What an amazing bank holiday weekend!

We kicked off at our campsite cafe on Friday evening serving the hungry campers

On Saturday we were at the stunning for an incredible wedding in the most gorgeous grounds, set off with the perfect weather. We catered the whole day from canapes whilst they sipped on rum punch by the lake, before enjoying 3 courses served sharing style to the table and topped off with chimichangas served from our airstream style trailer.

It was a pleasure to work at this wonderful venue again with all the amazing staff, to set off a perfect wedding day!

We finished our weekend off back at at our campsite cafe. With what proved to be our busiest night ever. Serving 181 pizzas as well as 80 burgers and a whole host of other things. With a queue out to the road 10 minutes before we opened we knew we were in for quite the night! Thank you to all of our amazing customers for their patience and the biggest thank you goes to our super star staff who despite the 40+° temperatures in the kitchen just carried on cooking to get everyone served

What a weekend!

We are just recovering from the Diesel gala and beer festival. You guys came out to support an amazing local event.

We wanted to share some numbers with you....

You ate a total of

459 sourdough wraps, that's almost 70kg of chicken, pork and jackfruit. With 25kg of homemade slaw

545 portions of chips, that's about 160kg

150 soft drinks, in-between the beers!

It was an amazing weekend and hopefully we will be back next year. We are going to finish cleaning up! Thank you for your support at this great local event!

All set up and ready for a weekend at Corfe Castle station for the Beer and cider festival and diesel gala.

We will be open until late all weekend serving up breakfast baps until 11.30 and sourdough wraps all afternoon

With over 40 different beers on offer there has never been a better reason to pop down!

We had an amazing, but busy weekend.

We started off with a private dining for a lovely family in Harmon's Cross, they hadn't managed to get together for a long time, it was a pleasure to cater for them in their beautiful house with stunning views of the rolling hills

Then on Saturday we had the pleasure of catering our second wedding of the year, this time at . The weather couldn't have been any better as the sun was out all day. The couple and guests enjoyed a great selection of food served in the incredible setting.

We rounded the weekend off at the car show. It's was incredibly well supported with the largest selection of cars we have seen attend for a very long time. Helped of course by the beautiful weather. Another brilliantly organized event by the carnival committee and great to see so many people enjoy it.
