Woke up to the news that sadly Ziggy (David Doran)from Rebel Rebel lost his fight to cancer yesterday , they were due to play at our event in November and let me know he was ill only a couple of months ago.. RIP you were a star man Zigg and we will miss you ###x

Thankyou to everyone that came to our Torquay Rock N Blues weekend .. what a great weekend we have had! Do you can book next year with only £10 deposit until Friday 16th October 2026… and Early bird wristbands with £10 off are on our online shop until Friday too saving you £10! Only £40 resident and £50 non resident ! From Saturday they will be £50 and £60! So get booked soon for a great weekend the hotel does not have to be paid until end of September 2027! Yesterday I sent my usual letter to the bands with their details for next weekends event - and while doing it I realised what a great line up of bands we have next weekend in Torquay - if you cannot get for the weekend we have day tickets available at stupidly low prices so take a look at the website www.rockersreunited.co.uk but here is the line up you have got - I look forward to seeing everyone for a great weekend of live music ! Don’t worry folks it may be raining but at Rock the Peaks we have a large marquee to keep us dry, real ale and c***r, no restrictions, good food, great music and great friends and vehicles waiting for free tow if anyone should get stuck! Unlike some festivals with restrictions on drink and food, no cover and charges to tow! So come and join us as we will still have a great weekend ! For those of you travelling to Rock the Peaks this weekend - I am on site already setting up … we have one tap which has been tested and is drinking water.. the bar also offers free bottles of drinking water for those that don’t want tap water! No charcoal bbqs or fire pits allowed but gas stoves and gas bbq’s off the ground can be used- bring wellies and warm clothes and blankets as it does get cold at night !

You can still join us at Rock the Peaks a small friendly festival with clean toilets, great food and real ale/c***r bar and great prices- dogs allowed, kids 0-11 free and 12-15 half price .. no charge for camping , caravan, motorhome, awning, car parking .. cars can stay next to tents .. marquee so bands under cover .. last week of the kids holiday so come and join us .. £5 per person extra to come Thursday and you don’t have to leave until late afternoon Monday… Too good to be true and a great lineup.. get booked now collect wristbands in the gate !
