I’ve worked more than 15 years in the events industry. I started in the industry erecting large marquees in Australia for a national exhibition company. Coming home to the UK, I moved to a large events company in Manchester, specialising in marquees for weddings and other events. I returned to Kent in 2003 to work for the South East’s main supplier of marquees and event equipment and after a short

time, I moved up to manage their marquee division. In 2012, I set up Holmsted Events specialising in tipis for weddings and events in Kent and the South East.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of East Sussex, our three tipis were set up a few years ago for the wedding of Ellie and James at Brightling Park. This quintessentially British venue, with its rolling hills and vibrant greenery, offers a breathtaking backdrop that perfectly complements our elegant tipis. Each structure is adorned with twinkling fairy lights that create a warm, inviting atmosphere as dusk falls, transforming the space into a magical setting. Our tipis are not only ideal for outdoor weddings but also versatile enough to host a variety of memorable events, ensuring that every celebration is as unique and special as the love it honors.

It's hard to believe that it has already been a year since the stunning wedding at Great Ote Hall! 🤍 Ollie and Madeline's beautiful June wedding featured our 12x24m Sailcloth tent, complete with an entrance walkway, indoor and outdoor festoon lighting, flower rings, long tables, Chiavari chairs, a dance floor, and catering tents, to name just a few highlights.

Congratulations to this wonderful couple on their first anniversary; it’s truly a special milestone! ✨
