Holmsted Events With over 15 years experience in the Wedding and Event hire business and cover from our Total Support Hi, I’m Fred and I’m the owner of Holmsted Events.

I’ve worked more than 15 years in the events industry. I started in the industry erecting large marquees in Australia for a national exhibition company. Coming home to the UK, I moved to a large events company in Manchester, specialising in marquees for weddings and other events. I returned to Kent in 2003 to work for the South East’s main supplier of marquees and event equipment and after a short

time, I moved up to manage their marquee division. In 2012, I set up Holmsted Events specialising in tipis for weddings and events in Kent and the South East.

A beautiful wedding, a stunning setting and a marquee filled with unforgettable moments 🤍✨

Swipe through for a glimpse inside Ben & Georgie’s wedding at Little Dower House, where our Sailcloth Marquee became the setting for their day.

From the round tables and Oak Cross Back Chairs to the round bar, Oak dance floor and fairy lights, every detail helped create a space that flowed beautifully from day into night. Outside, Oak barrels and long rustic benches created relaxed spaces for guests to gather, while the festoon-lit entrance walkway and Little Hat Tipi lounge added those all-important finishing touches.

And behind every beautiful marquee is plenty of planning! Layouts, power, generators, furniture, lighting and all the questions in between — we're here to help guide you through it all.

Full of energy, colour, brilliant suppliers and that unmistakable feeling that **everyone is here to have a very good time**. 🥂🕺

Our sailcloth tent created the perfect centrepiece for this garden wedding — light, elegant and effortlessly at home in the setting. Paired with our furniture hire, it gave the couple a beautiful space to dine, drink, dance and celebrate well into the night.
