I had such a lovely time at Sutton Park Grange Care Home this week sharing some wonderful songs my grandmother taught me: Love's Old Sweet Song, Danny Boy, Annie Laurie, and this wonderful version of Send in the Clowns.

My second wedding last weekend was for the beautiful Danielle Botfield and Adam at Draycote Hotel. The bride classical music for when the guests were seated, and A Thousand Years and She's Like the Wind for the signing of the register. The bridal couple exited to Disney's A Whole New World followed by the upbeat I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas. I then moved my harp to the foyer to play a mixture of classical and popular pieces for the drinks reception. Thank you both for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day!

My grandmother was in the movies with Harpo Marx in the early 1940s and always said what an amazing musician he was, and self-taught. This is so beautiful, and fabulous to watch his hands on the harp.

My first wedding of this weekend was at the beautiful Moor Hall Hotel & Spa for Harley and Matt's wedding drinks reception. The couple booked me to play a mixture of classical and popular pieces to welcome their guests to the reception venue and entertain them before the wedding breakfast. Particular favourites were Canon in D, Love Story and Rather Be by Clean Bandit. Congratulations Harley and Matt! 🎵💕👩‍❤️‍👨💍🎶

Live music adds so much to an event - and when the music is glorious harp music it’s sure to be beautiful and memorable. Playing professionally for over 30 years, Michelle enlivens weddings and adds a personal touch to funerals or celebrations in Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham.

“Michelle provided a lovely performance with the harp, it really set the ambiance of the evening and everyone commented on how classy and beautiful it was. The set list was perfect, starting with classical and mood setting numbers and ending with more upbeat party numbers as the drinks reception went on.”
