Good Morning everyone, I’ve been informed this morning that the top gate is still locked and the boating lake car park to remain closed ‘until further notice’ 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
I haven’t received anything directly from the council as to why or when we can expect it open but I will be contacting them as this is directly affecting my business, I CAN still get down to my usual spot to trade so will still be there as normal but this also impacts your enjoyment of the park when you visit…fingers crossed I can get an answer from them and let you all know what’s going on 👍

Wow…for all it’s been a breezy one down the park today you’ve all been out in numbers 🙌 the park was chocker!!!…thanks to everyone who stopped by today, you all wiped me out by 14:00…I don’t need to eat muffins and shortbread for the next few days now👌
Hopefully the road down to the bottom lake is opening up from Tuesday, so we’re slowly getting back to normal…I’ll be back Thursday as usual, See you soon and thanks again. David x

Last one of the week…I’m down the usual spot 🙌 it’s been a mixed bag this week weather wise, the park has been busy one day, quiet the next 😬 I know it’s hard for some to get down the boating lake at the minute with the top gates still closed but hopefully a few of you can pop down while out on your walk 🙏 if not it looks like I’m eating muffins and shortbreads for the next week!🐷😂….i’m serving until around 2pm today so please try and get down for a brew. X

I’m up and open down the park…seem’s very quiet today but hopefully you can manage to call in if you’re up the park 🙏 I’m planning on being here until 14:00 but obviously if the park is really quiet I’ll be shooting off a bit earlier…I’ll let you all know if that’s the case 👍

I’m open and stocked up to the max…serving until 14:00 today (or earlier if I sell out 😬)
It’s a gorgeous morning so why not get out for a walk in the sun and grab a brew on your way….a quick reminder the bottom car park is still not in operation but all walkways are open 👍
