Renegade has always been about more than just a night out.

For years we've been part of Sunderland's alternative scene because we genuinely love it. Rock, metal, punk, emo, hardcore, ska, pop punk… we're fans first, DJs second. The conversations, the gigs, the new releases, the comeback tours, the local bands... this scene is our home.

Whether it's your first time through the door or you've been with us since the early days, Renegade is a place where everyone is welcome. We believe alternative music should be inclusive, friendly and somewhere you can be yourself without judgement.

Got a request? Come and ask. Want to chat about the latest album, your favourite band, or what's happening in the scene? Pull us aside. Our DJs are always happy to talk music, take requests and help make your night your own.
