We call it our BOFA - Buy One, Feed Another - social model. We’re starting a movement, a movement that will help the lives of many, many children in need. For every pizza sold, Munch Movement has teamed up with MARY'S MEALS to provide a weeks worth of school meals for a sub-saharan child in desperate need. For a starving child, a school meal a day can change their life. These children will no long
er need to work or beg for food, they can attend school and gain an education. An education that will allow them to support themselves, and their future children, generation after generation. We pride ourselves on cooking amazingly tasty, home-made pizza’s in our wood fired pizza oven, but for us this is not enough, we believe in more, in being a force for good... we support local farmers and producers with every decision we make. We do this by sourcing as many products as possible through the BigBarn directory, a social enterprise set up to empower local farmers and encourage sustainable and organic production methods. The freshness and taste is simply astonishing when compared to the rushed methods used for mass production. Environmentally, we do all we can to reduce our carbon-footprint. Our Van has been converted to LPG, reducing CO2 emissions by 20% and NOx emissions by 95%. Our oven is ‘DEFRA’ approved to reduce emissions. The wood we source not only gives our pizza’s a great taste, but also 100% natural, sustainable and renewable. We recycle everything where possible.
