Today I’m celebrating another trip around the sun AND 8 YEARS of Face ‘n’ Glitz 💖✨

8 years of weddings, festivals, hen parties, glitter, braids, crazy adventures, incredible clients and the BEST team. 🪩

Here’s to being well into my 30s😬, my business turning 8, and whatever sparkly chaos comes next… 🥂✨

PS This was our 10th take and my two assistants had lost the will to live 🙈

For those that are new around here… I’m Emily, a 30-something mum of two, living in Suffolk. I’m a festival lover… and slightly obsessed with glitter! ✨

I’m the face behind Face ’n’ Glitz, and for the last 8 years I’ve been turning festivals, parties and events into glitter-filled memories with my amazing team.

I’m a perfectionist, an over-thinker, a Virgo and, let’s be honest… I probably spend far too much time thinking about glitter 😂

I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I feel so lucky to have built a business doing something that makes people feel fabulous. 🥹

The finished setup… ✨ But this is only the tip of the iceberg. 🤍

When you see our stand looking like this, it’s easy to think we just turn up, put a few things out and start glittering.

The reality? It takes weeks of planning, organising stock, ordering supplies, repairing equipment, creating displays, packing vans and checking every little detail before we even leave home.

Then comes the festival…
🚐 Loading the van.
🏕️ Hours of building the stand.
✨ Hanging every sequin.
🪩 Positioning every sign.
💇‍♀️ Setting up every hair station.
💄 Organising hundreds of products.
🌅 Early starts.
🌙 Late finishes.
💪 Long days on our feet.
📦 Then packing it all away to do it again.

Every rug, every flower, every menu board and every sparkle has a purpose. We want people to walk past and instantly feel the festival magic.

It’s hard work, it’s exhausting, and by the end we’re covered in glitter, dust and running on very little sleep… but seeing it all come together makes every single hour worth it.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Latitude, trusted us with your festival look and supported our small business.

Our Latitude adventure has come to an end, and what a weekend it’s been. 💖

We’ve created thousands of braids, covered countless faces in glitter, made so many wonderful memories, and had the absolute best time.

We’re leaving with tired feet, full hearts, glitter in places we didn’t know existed… and dust absolutely everywhere! 😂 But we wouldn’t change a second of it.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand this weekend and to my INCREDIBLE team for all their hard work. 🫶🏻

✨ You can find us in the Mind Body & Zen Area
✨ We will be open 5-7.30 Thurs and 10-6 Fri/Sat/Sun
✨Walk ins are available for the glitter
✨ Hair-braiding requires pre-booking via the website BEFORE the festival and via our stand DURING the festival
✨ We are only able to accept card payments

✨ A LITTLE RE-INTRO ✨
I realised I’ve been a little quiet on here over the last few months, and we’ve welcomed a few new followers recently, so I thought it was the perfect time to re-introduce myself and my amazing team!

I’m Emily (aka the Glitter Boss 👑), and Face ‘n’ Glitz has now been sprinkling glitter for nearly 8 years… where has that time gone?!

I’ve recently moved back to Suffolk (my 15th move has taken me just 10 minutes from where I grew up 🤣), and I’m so happy to be back here with my little family.

I’m a busy mum to two gorgeous children, aged 4 and 2, who keep me on my toes every single day!

Running a small business alongside raising little ones definitely isn’t always easy, but it’s incredibly rewarding, and I’m so grateful that I get to do a job I absolutely love while it fits around family life.🫶🏻

If you’ve never come across us before, we bring glitter, sparkle and festival vibes to weddings, festivals, corporate events and the occasional party too! ✨

One of the highlights of our year is almost here… Latitude Festival is only two weeks away! My team and I are SO excited to be back doing what we love.🎪

Speaking of my team… I honestly couldn’t do this without them. I’m incredibly lucky to work alongside such a fantastic group of ladies, many of whom have been with me for years. We all come from different backgrounds, but together we make the perfect team, and they’re simply the BEST. ❤️
