This week! Decafé, Thrive, live music, sewing, drawing and our Vintage & Retro fair on Sunday! All are FREE but donations are ALWAYS welcome. Please support us by buying your refreshments at our cafe bar. We are a charity and Grade I medieval buildings cost a lot to look after 👼

As Volunteers’ Week draws to a close, we are delighted to celebrate two remarkable achievements that showcase the creativity, dedication and community spirit of the people who make our work possible.

Firstly, huge congratulations to our incredible volunteers on being nominated for the Marsh Award for Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) Volunteer Team of the Year. We are deeply grateful for the time, energy and passion they bring to our historic space. This nomination is a wonderful recognition of their commitment and impact.

We are also thrilled to celebrate the young people working with and winners of the Marsh Award for the CCT Creativity Award. Their inspiring Silk Music Project in 2025 creatively combined Sudbury’s rich silk-weaving heritage with innovative digital sound creation, producing a unique and imaginative piece of work that connected past and present in exciting new ways.

Congratulations to all involved. These achievements highlight the power of creativity, collaboration and community, and we couldn’t be prouder.

TODAY and every 1st Saturday of the month – Midday to 2pm

A friendly free drop in for songwriters to meet together. A supportive peer to peer environment to play your songs, and receive feedback, tips and encouragement. All skills levels are welcomed!

This is a great opportunity to network with fellow songwriters.

Our cafe/bar will be open during the sessions.

Still buzzing from last night. Thanks to everyone who came to witness the unstoppable . Having him perform here was a real honour, and hearing him play early music, echoing through our medieval space, created one of those goosebump moments for us.

was brilliant as ever, and a special thank you to James for making it happen and bringing Attila to Sudbury. A special night all round.

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This Pride Month, we’re celebrating love, diversity and inclusion.

Our Pride Group meets here at the Arts Centre once a month, usually on the third Saturday. It’s a friendly and inclusive space where LGBTQ+ people, along with friends, family and allies, can come together to socialise, share ideas, and help plan events and activities throughout the year.

Whether you’re looking to make new connections, get involved in the community, or simply spend time in a welcoming environment, everyone is welcome.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at the Arts Centre! 🏳️‍🌈
