Today I was reminded of something, I didn’t realise I needed to remember, but now I have I can’t keep it in. While running my workshops over the years, the most enjoyable part, bar the flowers, has been the chat. The comfort in sharing and listening, meeting new people, sharing a story or part of your life. So with this in mind, I have decided to open my workshop doors in the day for groups or one to one flowering chatting sessions. What makes me qualified for this you ask, I can hear you. So here’s my story, before having my younger children I was a funeral arranger. This was a job I loved, I loved chatting to people about their lives, their loved ones lives and letting them have a safe space to share. I carried these lives into my floristry, chatting, sharing and listening while organising funeral flowers. Then my mum died and I was suddenly that person, wanting to share and talk, I just needed to find someone to listen. With all this in mind I started to read and listen to everything I could about being in the moment, so it’s with these new skills I remember it’s great to chat whilst doing. So let’s do that, let’s put the kettle on, chat, cry, listen and share whilst creating something beautiful. Group flowering will be held on the last Tuesday of every month, from my workshop in Great Henny. We will make beautiful arrangements and feel mindful, all at the same time. Sessions will cost £20

Hello to you all, thought I’d just check in as I’ve been quiet lately. My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the end of January, since then we’ve all been on a journey of discovery and learning. Due to becoming consumed with learning and living our new norm, I’d sort of forgotten I had an actual business. So with that in mind, I’M BACK! Mother’s Day is this Sunday and I’ve got some wonderful regulars who have reached out to remind me, get back to work Emilie. So if you’re on the last minute vibe or just needed reminding, I’m here for you. I’ll be delivering on Saturday afternoon, as I think my family may have plans.
