Perfect for Weddings and Wedding Receptions our stunning location gives you the backdrop for a perfect wedding day to remember with wedding photos you will want to look at every day. Set in the rolling countryside of The Belchamps, south of Sudbury, our grounds are fronted with a willow-bordered lake stocked with carp.At night the House and drive are floodlit to reflect across the water with ample, surfaced parking available close to the Barn for your guests.

🎷♥️Y&C♥️🎷

We first met Yazz and Charlie on a crisp winter’s day, and it didn’t take long for them to fall completely in love with Smeetham Hall Barn. Fast forward 18 months, and their beautiful little girl had the very special honour of walking Yazz down the aisle.

From the very beginning, Yazz and Charlie had their hearts set on an outdoor ceremony. As their ceremony time approached, the clouds parted and the sun came out, making theirs our very first outdoor wedding of the year — and what a beautiful day it was.

Michelle from Lavender Celebrancy led their ceremony, creating a truly heartfelt and emotional moment. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and, of course, a few happy tears from their guests.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks in our beautiful rose garden, with the music perfectly taken care of by Dan Brock. As the celebrations continued into the evening, Jonny on sax arrived and, needless to say, the dancefloor was soon packed!

The legendary napkin wave was also in full swing for the entrance of the bride and groom, with each table nominating its very own ‘captain’ to lead the way. It was one of those wonderfully fun moments that perfectly captured the atmosphere of the day.

Every guest clearly had an absolute ball, and looking back through these photographs, the joy, laughter and love are impossible to miss.

It was a truly memorable celebration for Yazz and Charlie, and we were so delighted to be part of it.
