Planning your Spring or Summer wedding tables?
Take a look at these very achievable round table set ups lifted by lovely crockery and cutlery and simple green accents in napkins and or glassware. These work beautifully for a country wedding in the Barns especially teamed with a sprig of rosemary or lavender on the napkins, cottage garden plants or flowers in mixed glass vessels and foliage covered hoops and ladders.

Our historic wedding venue is hidden in the folds of the Suffolk countryside surrounded by organic farmland. The surrounding fields and skies are teeming with wildlife including buzzards, owls, bats and deer and we are continuously planting more trees and hedges to further improve the habitat. Yet we are only approx. 1 mile from the A134 between Bury St Edmunds and Suffolk.
Our venue has been designed to offer a beautiful and timeless backdrop to your special day. Our oak frame barns have been carefully restored so that they are still Suffolk barns but with the added bonus of sheep's wool insulation, efficient heating, spacious WC’s and kitchen accommodation. We have also installed computerised lighting and all the Audio Visual equipment and PA / Audio systems we think you will need. Whether you fall in love with our simple oak beams and fairy lights or embellish the space with flowers and personal touches the rest of it is up to you!
Outside we have created a courtyard space with brick built pizza oven, a reception garden with brick terrace for drinks or entertainment and a wildflower and tree meadow with space for throwing (natural) confetti. We have plenty of parking which is close by but landscaped so as not to intrude on the rural aspect. As you can imagine we have plenty of space for photographs and are happy to show you our favourite nooks and crannies be it our bridges, carved tree trunk seats or leafy tunnels.
We are licenced for up to 250 for civil ceremonies in our separate civil ceremonies barn but have successfully held ceremonies and or receptions for parties from as few as 40.
We have been holding weddings for close on 10 years now and we still love to see how every couple create their own vision against our backdrop of timber and lime plaster. We love the fact that some of our couples are now bringing children to see where their parents were married. Our barns are part of their story .. their history.
