My advice: say YES if your pup loves people, follows instructions, and won’t be tempted to chase a squirrel down the aisle. 😂

If they’re a little more chaotic than charming... maybe let them enjoy the celebrations from the sidelines instead. Either way, they’ll still steal the show. 🐶🤍

A big shoutout to all wedding suppliers this week!

Saturdays wedding was gorgeous, set in the brides parents garden at home. Running around in this heat and constantly on the go is what we are used too, but it hit different in this heat.

So if you are getting married this week, look after your suppliers just like Lucy & Ollie did. Let us access the open bar for drinks & feed us!

Suppliers, take this advice - wear plenty of suncream, drink lots & take more breaks than usual. I ended up with sunstroke as I didn’t listen to myself!

Mini ceremonies.

Addressing the elephant in the room, I aware it’s called mini ‘rituals’ but that word makes me feel like I’m in a cult 🤷🏼‍♀️ so I changed it!

There are so many nowadays to choose from but we can also create your own.

A watering of a tree/ tree planting ceremony is a symbolic ritual.
* It signifies the joining of two people.
* The tree represents the growth & strength.
* Pouring of the water signifies nurturing which is required in a marriage.

They will help you, whether you ask or not.
Create jobs they can do that you won’t take over.
Say yes to anything.
Go with it.

We had pot plants done by our family & friends, a friend doing my hair that morning, friends decorating the wooden arch & the night before our wedding, I went to Waitrose and Tesco to get flowers making my own bouquet.

My bouquet was far from perfect, yet I was happy & saved myself a few hundred pounds.

What I’m saying is … do what you want, take the help where it’s offered and go with it, don’t stress, enjoy the moments in the lead up to your wedding 💕
