We have received so many enquiries and messages in the last few weeks, so please see below a statement which gives a better idea to how we like to operate. ❤️

Booking & Design Communication

£500 Minimum Spend
All event bookings are subject to a minimum spend of £500.

Once Your Booking Is Secured -
Once your booking has been confirmed and secured, we will remain in touch throughout the lead-up to your event. Approximately 6 months prior to your event, we will begin communication regarding your plans, requirements and overall vision.

8 Weeks Before Your Event -
At approximately 8 weeks prior to your event, we become heavily involved in bringing everything together. This is when we will work closely with you to share ideas, discuss the finer details and concrete your final designs, ensuring every element is planned and tailored to your event.

Client-Supplied Items -
Whilst we are more than happy to consider incorporating some of your own items or personal decorations into your event, please understand that Shaun Smith Wedding & Event Design is a professional business built around quality, presentation and attention to detail.

We pride ourselves on providing a high-quality, cohesive finish across every event we create. For this reason, we cannot always guarantee that we will be happy to use client-supplied products or items, particularly where we feel they may not meet our quality standards, complement the overall design or achieve the professional finish we pride ourselves on.

Our final decision regarding the use of any client-supplied items will always be based on the overall design, quality, condition and suitability of the item.

Final Event Balance -
Your full remaining event balance will be due 4 weeks prior to your event. All final arrangements and preparations will then be confirmed ahead of your special day.

Our aim is to make the entire process as enjoyable, personal and stress-free as possible, whilst ensuring that your event is brought to life exactly as you envision it — with the quality and attention to detail that Shaun Smith Wedding & Event Design is proud to offer.
