A Huge Thank You from our stall at the Unexpected Gardens at Stranraer’s Scottish Week

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall today at the Scottish Week event in Stranraer. It was a real pleasure to chat with so many of you in the beautiful setting of the Unexpected Gardens in great sunny weather.

Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and community spirit made the day truly special. Whether you came for a quick hello, stayed for a longer chat, or just passed by with a smile, your presence meant the world to us.

A special shoutout to our four-legged visitors who enjoyed the dog-friendly cupcakes lovingly baked by our very own master chef, Nicola, they went down an absolute treat!

While the day was filled with joy and connection, we were saddened by an incident involving a homophobic outburst directed at a young mum and her children over a small flag they were carrying. We stand firmly against hate in all its forms and remain committed to making our spaces welcoming, inclusive, and safe for everyone.

Events like this remind us of the strength and warmth of our community. Thank you for your time, your stories, and your support.

We hope to see you again soon, until then, take care and enjoy the rest of SStranraer Scottish Week
