This was officially the most expensive bridal bouquet I’ve ever created.

Calla lilies were one of the standout on trend flowers of this wedding season, and with their popularity and cost per stem, this bouquet was certainly a luxury choice.

Proof that you don’t have to work with the colours of a room — you can completely change the feel of it!

The Great Hall at The Mount Hotel is naturally striking, with its rich blue and gold interior, but this black-and-white wedding shows just how versatile the space can be.

Through carefully chosen styling, we created a more refined, contemporary feel with elegant table centrepieces, flowing chiffon chair drapes and a statement wedding arch, finished with black linen napkins for a beautifully polished look.

It’s all about using the room as your starting point, then making it feel completely your own!

My Bride Hannah faced a seriously difficult time when she suddenly fell ill and had major surgery just one month before her wedding day. Hannah was determined to walk down the aisle as planned - and she did!

Her story is a reminder of the strength women carry within them. The strength to keep on going, to rise again, and to find their way back to the moments they once wondered if they’d ever reach.

Admittedly, it’s difficult keeping up with social media posts whilst working on four Weddings (sometimes more!) each week throughout the summer months 😂 But hey, it’s what I love 🫶🏼 This Bridal Bouquet was designed for Nicole who married at The Mill Barns Wedding Venue last month. Two tone pink, no foliage & lots of fluffy flowers to create this romantic hand tied design. I am loving the variety of florals at the moment, wait until you see what I post next!

It’s all the little details that make this wedding feel so luxurious!

Chiffon chair drapes finished with silk roses & ribbon soften the space and transform plain chairs into something elegant, while gold charger plates frame each place setting, making every table look more complete and polished. The Staircase florals with petals & candles complete the grand entrance to your guests. A personalised welcome sign to compliment the rest of the decor is a lovely way to welcome your guests from the moment they walk through those doors!

Styling different areas so they complement each other creates a beautiful sense of flow throughout the whole wedding. When every key space has been styled – from the ceremony to the tables, the welcome area and all the finishing touches in between – the whole day feels more luxurious. It’s those small details that leave the biggest impression.

Shannon & Alisters beautiful Sri Lankan Wedding Ceremony at The Mill Barns was all about creating a space that honoured culture while embracing elegant and timeless florals. From the lush white & greenery Ceremony Arch to the soft neutral chiffon drapes and the floral meadows that lined the aisle, every detail was carefully put together to tell the couple’s story.
