My mom was quiet but strong.

Lacking in confidence but could chat to anyone once she felt comfortable.

She was an introvert who was very well liked in her community.

She was hardworking and had a good sense of humour.

She was the one who brought us up. There in the morning with breakfast and after school she was always at home.

Making seven different meals at times to cater for our differing likes and dislikes.

As I grew up I appreciated her more and we spent a lot of time together on holidays and other social activities every week.

I hope she knew that she was valued and loved.
