Stonham Barns Park was fortunate to have Lennon ’The Force’ Wharf and his lovely family stay at the holiday park over the last weekend of the summer holidays.

Lennon is known for his exceptional skill and achievements in the sport of darts - sponsored by Stonham Barns Park and Target Darts - and supported by his wonderful parents Gary and Emma. He competes at county level for Suffolk’s under 18 team and aims to become a future world champion having one numerous trophies and achieved top results in junior darts competitions.

The family all had an awesome time and Gary Wharf could not have been more appreciative, ‘We love to spend family time at Stonham Barns Park and are so grateful to Alan Forward for his generous sponsorship that allows Lennon to play competitive darts at a number of levels.’

Gary is about to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy for a recent cancer diagnosis and so will need to take some time off for his treatment and recovery. Everyone at Stonham Barns Parks wishes him all the very best for his treatment journey over the weeks ahead and we look forward to welcoming the whole family back again soon!

Join us on Wednesday, September 3rd, before you watch and cheer on the Lloyds Tour Cycle Tour of Britain Stage 2.

Take a leisurely stroll through our shopping village to find that perfect gift for someone special or a little treat for yourself! Afterwards, enjoy a meal at Cafe 24 or The Teapot Tearoom before heading over to wave them on.

The race will start from Ipswich Street, Stowmarket, at 11:00 AM, heading to Forward Green and along the A1120, then turning off to Debenham at Scotts Hill in Stonham Aspal. The route forms a wide loop around Mid Suffolk and Babergh.
