The Scottish Unaffiliated Showjumping Sunshine Tour is all about progression and encouragement! We don't eliminate anyone - we make sure everyone gets round and love to see horses/ponies/riders develop over the 4 days.

With that in mind, we will have both Mario Wheatley and Millie Lawson available for both course walking and warm ups. Both are extremely experienced. They were both very popular last year!

Mario is an experienced equine coach dedicated to developing clear communication, balance, and trust between horse and rider, with a deep respect for the horse as both athlete and partner. Drawing on years of hands-on experience, he works with riders of all levels to build strong foundations, improve confidence, and achieve lasting results through thoughtful, horse-centred training that honours each horse’s individual needs, temperament, and way of learning. Known for his calm, supportive coaching style, Mario blends technical understanding with feel, patience, and awareness, breaking down complex concepts into clear, practical guidance to help horse and rider move together in harmony, progress safely, and truly enjoy the learning journey.

Millie is a knowledgeable and thoughtful equestrian, who places strong emphasis on clear communication, correct foundations, and confidence-building for both horse and rider. Drawing on her own competitive experience, she works with riders in a calm, supportive manner, tailoring her coaching to suit individual goals, learning styles, and the needs of each horse. Millie’s approach is practical, empathetic, and horse-centred, with a focus on developing understanding, balance, and consistency rather than quick fixes. Known for her clear explanations and positive energy, she helps riders gain confidence, improve technique, and build strong, respectful partnerships that support long-term progress and enjoyment.

They are both happy to help, and the cost is only £25 per horse/pony per day. This should be booked and paid directly to them at the show.

GREAT NEWS!!

We've managed to source some standard temporary stabling for the Sunshine Tour so we will be offering both 'VIP' Barn Stables and standard temporary stabling. The VIP Barn Stables will be extremely limited and priced at £140 for the duration of the show (arrive Thursday, leave Sunday). The standard stables will be priced as per last year (£95) and both options include haylage.

Electric hookups will be available to book for horseboxes, again in very limited numbers, and shavings will be available to book online.

We have big plans for this year so are still seeking some sponsors who can help us to deliver THE BEST SHOW YET!!

EDIT - After checking, stables were actually £95 last year, not £85 (they cost us £80 + VAT which is £96!!). Currently working on some alternatives.

For the Sunshine Tour we normally use Auchlishie Eventing's temporary stables but they are booked out to Pony Club this year for the Regionals.

I can get these fantastic barn stables from Woodhouse but they have to come up from Nottingham and will cost a bit more per stable than we normally charge - let me know your thoughts below before I confirm them.

Stables are normally £85 and these will be £140. The price will include haylage, and shavings will be available to purchase.

Personally, I absolutely LOVE the barn stables, especially with our slightly unpredictable Scottish weather, and have been in them many times at shows (and have paid more!!) - but I'm equally aware of people's budget restraints.
