We hope that you all enjoyed War Wheels 2025. Now that the dust has settled, it's time for a few thankyous.
A huge thank you to all the staff & volunteers from Foxfield Railway & North Staffs Military Vehicle Group for making this event happen. There's been a few late nights and some very, very busy days but everyone pulled together to put on a great event.
Thank you to Heath House Farm for the use of the one of their fields for parking / Exhibitor camping. Without the support of Heath House Farm, the event simply wouldn't be able to happen. It's fantastic to have two local businesses supporting each other for the benefit of the local community.
A big thank you to all of our re-enactment groups & vehicles exhibitors for going above and beyond with the equipment they brought along and being so open and willing to engage, chat with, entertain and educate the public. Our thanks to 69th Field Regiment Display, 284th Rifle Division, C Troop Re enactment Group, Manchester Regiment 1914 - 1918, The Notts and Derby Living History Group 39-45, Winston is Back.
A thank you to our various traders / charities including Tri Services and Veterans Support Centre. Registered charity 1159599, Royal British Legion & North Staffs Airsoft Gaming Site for entertaining the public.
Thank you Malpractice Stoke, The Mel Baines Trio and Ignition for entertaining the public throughout the weekend. All helping to build the atmosphere and keep the bar staff busy.
Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to all of you who turned up and supported the event in anyway you could. There was a wonderful warm & friendly atmosphere throughout the weekend and it fantastic to see so many families out enjoying themselves at the railway.
We hope you have noticed an improvement over last year. As ever, we're interested to hear your feed back on what you liked and what you think we can improve for next time.
We'll be back on the 16/17 May 2026!
