Great to see Ruarri Joseph back at Fulford this weekend for our third gig of 2025.
And wasn't Matilda Finn Frances just amazing??? such a beautiful voice.
We will have some great video to share once I've had chance to review everything.

As ever, your kind contributions towards the Macari Foundation are most welcome and a healthy £36 was added to this year's pot.

Looking ahead; our next show with Aussie blues legend Kara Grainger will take place at F' hall on Sunday 26th October. As of today we've sold or reserved over 80 tickets so it won't be long at all before it's sold out, so get in touch if you've not booked yet.

What better, on a quiet Sunday night, than to share some music with a message.
Those who have been with us on our journey, will have seen Speak, Brother at least a couple of times now. What some might not have realised though is that helping us out on sound these last few shows has been Matt Cotterill, keyboard player with this excellent band and talented producer of the following song.
From chaos comes order they say, and Matt has certainly brought some order behind the scenes at A500 Music, for which we are very grateful.

A big thank you to Emilia Quinn Music and her band (and Kier) for rocking Fulford last night. We thank every one of you for coming along and making this another spectacular night.
And just one more thank you to those using the tea bar, who have donated so generously to The Macari Foundation. Another £27 will be added to the pot which we will pass on to the centre at the end of the year.

Maybe it's just me with a fascination for trivia like this but it always intrigues me the distance that some people will travel to see a titchy gig in a village hall. I don't think it breaches GDPR to share with you the demographics of our online ticket sales since we started this mad mission some 10 years ago.

Of course, this doesn't include the couple that flew over from central Massachusetts to see W***y Porter in 2017 :)

You will have spotted that we have coming up on July 20th, a very special and rare solo show by Ruarri Joseph, who we last saw at Fulford in 2018 leading the very excellent William The Conqueror.

Tickets for this went on sale over the weekend and unsurprisingly there has been a lot of interest in this show. If you want to make sure you have your seats reserved for this one, you know what to do ;)

Well, what can you say about that gig last night other than WOW!
I don't think it would be any exaggeration to say that last nights show with Ross Harding UK was one of the most powerful that we have ever seen at Fulford.
Obviously, this sets the bar very high for our 10th year of hosting live music but blink and our next show will be upon us with Emilia Quinn bringing her full band show to A500 Music on April 13th.
We're fully expecting demand for tickets to be high again and are already taking reservations, so if you want to make sure of being there, get in touch and reserve your seats now and pay later.
