In 2005 I happened to be shopping in Robertas Bridal, in its original location of Swadlincote, Derby. We had such a great time at the appointment and the owner of the shop commented that I was better at this than her. We laughed, I took the compliment and didn’t really think anything more until I had a phone call in 2006 offering me the business. Well, what can I say, I bought it and we moved to Burslem, where we have been since 2006.
I wanted to create a size inclusive shop, body positivity is something that is really important, we are all unique and diverse and this should be celebrated! Our mission is to ensure that we can offer dresses to ANY bride that walks through our door. You, our brides, are our first priority, we want you to feel amazing, confident and more importantly in love with not only the dress you buy, but yourself as a bride.
We love being part of your journey and will do everything we can to make sure that our part runs as smoothly as possible from the moment you walk through our doors. Our store has private dressing rooms, that have sofas so your guests can relax whilst you try on different gowns. No-one else is able to see you, so there is no pressure to hurry or feel self-conscious. Our staff are fully trained bridal stylists, so if a dress isn’t quite right for you, we will tell you and with our skill we will find you the perfect dress!
