Website update

Our website is now back open for bookings.

Firstly, thank you so much for your patience over the last couple of days, and we’re genuinely sorry for the downtime. We know this caused frustration and confusion, especially for those trying to book events, check details, or contact us through the website.

The temporary closure was due to upgrade work on our checkout/payment pages. As the new payment pages need further testing, we have re-enabled our previous payment system so that bookings can continue as normal while our web team completes the remaining work safely behind the scenes.

To reassure everyone, Haunted Houses Events is absolutely still running as normal, and all upcoming events remain in place.

There may be a short period of planned downtime again once the final checkout update is ready to go live, but we will aim to keep this as brief as possible.

From the terrifying 30 East Drive, to the abandoned corridors of Newsham Park Hospital, the historic Skirrid Inn, underground tunnels at Fort Widley, and more — we’ve got a full run of real ghost hunts happening between Thursday 7th and Saturday 9th May 2026.
