Long before a new gown arrives on the rails at Wedding Belles Love, we’ve already spent months choosing it. 🤍
This September, Darci and I headed back to Harrogate Bridal Week, where we got a first look at the newest bridal collections, watched the latest gowns come down the catwalk and started choosing what comes next for WBL.
And this year felt a little different...

We found ourselves sitting at our own table, right at the front of the catwalk, close enough to see every piece of lace, every fabric, every bit of structure and every tiny detail.

💍 3 things I would NEVER do when wedding dress shopping…
And after helping hundreds of brides find their dress, trust me on these 👀
1️⃣ Bring too many opinions
Your mum loves one. Your best friend loves another. Your sister thinks you should try something completely different…
And suddenly, you’ve forgotten the most important opinion in the room.
YOURS. 🤍
2️⃣ Try on 30+ dresses just because you can
More dresses doesn’t always mean more certainty.
Sometimes it just means more confusion.
If you put a dress on and feel incredible in it, you don’t need to keep searching just to make sure there isn’t something “better” out there.
3️⃣ Keep shopping after you’ve found a dress you LOVE
This is the big one.
Once you’ve found a dress that makes you feel like you, stop looking.
Stop scrolling.
Stop comparing.
Stop saving another 47 dresses on Pinterest. 😂
There will ALWAYS be another beautiful wedding dress.
