I couldn’t help myself! There were a few stems available so I’ve had an early start arranging last night’s picking for the flower stand.

Flower stand will be closed on Mondays moving forwards (I need a rest day from all the late nights picking and early morning arranging)

Flower stand is re-stocked for the afternoon. The peaches and cream posy has my favourite rose in it, Wollerton Old Hall. Such a lovely scent, so I always forgive her droopy heads (she’s a climber).

I am slowly filling up the flower stand for “Saturday Stems”.

The flower stand won’t be open (I don’t think) tomorrow, to allow flowers to re-bloom for next week.

We have flowers on the flower stand today, although we have already sold 1 bouquet and 3 jam jar posies.

Really enjoyed making these bouquets today. Lovely to be working with zinnias and dahlias.. here’s hoping for a big flush of both soon.

I thought you might like to see our cut flower garden. This is pretty much all I’m working with this season, our first year.

Next year we have plans for a much bigger area and the potential to offer pick your own events at weekends, the odd evening and potentially branching out in to build-a-bouquet workshops too.

All this means there would be more stems to choose from to make bouquets, more colours, and the potential to be able to confidentially take orders for collection.

None of this is possible with any regularity this year, unfortunately, as I simply don’t have enough flowers, as we’re just dipping our toes in the water to see if we can cope with the extra work a micro flower farm would bring.

Early indications are HECK YES!! Let’s go for bigger and better and MORE FLOWERS next year

These 2 bouquets are available for £10 each… or you could buy both for one large display of you prefer.

Couldn’t be any fresher as they were only picked 13 hours ago, conditioned overnight and arranged at 9am this morning (13/7)
