We are absolutely over the moon to announce our Affordability Day on 24th July. We’ve teamed up with Women’s Street Watch Boro and The White Feather Project to run a drop in event where you can come and learn how to make low cost, healthy family meals and pick up the recipes and ingredients. There will also be stalls where we’ll have uniform items (shirts, trousers etc), toiletries (with sanitary pads, shower gel etc), clothes (mens womens and childrens) and such items as bras, pants and pyjamas. These will be free of charge but we ask you just take what you need as we’ll be doing these on a monthly basis. There will also be face/glitter painting too if you want to come have a browse and bring your little ones too.
There will also be different representatives from support services there so if you need advice regarding topics as budgeting or universal credit there will be people there who can have a chat with you over a cuppa.
Things are tough at the moment but we’ll be there with friendly faces, cups of tea and a helping hand if you need it.
If you want to donate any items please drop off between 10:30-11:30am.
Please feel free to share! If you want any leaflets dropping off please contact the page directly and we can sort something out.
