We are blessed to be situated right next to Cheadle Heath Park. Which looks absolutely beautiful in this gorgeous sunshine!

The MUGA (multi use games area), children's play area, benches, picnic tables, and more, are always open. Why not pop down first a stroll or bring the kids?!

A new monthly group is starting here at the centre for anyone aged 75+

Starting on Wednesday, 1st May, this new group is FREE to attend and will include refreshments and social activities.

Great to know that Pam is still flying the flag for us down at the centre! She does a brilliant job of sorting out parties, bring in new groups (watch this space a new group for those over age 75!), and keeping up with any maintenance niggles….

Hello everyone!

I thought I'd give a quick update about my future role...

For a number of reasons, I've agreed with St Matthew's Church, Edgeley to reduce my working pattern to three days a week.

So, from today, I will be working on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

I remain fully committed to my work at St Matthew's, as well as the Cheadle Heath Community Association (who manage the Rose Walker Community Centre), and, of course, Friendly Fridays !

You will still see me out and about in the community, and please continue to get in touch if you would like to ask me anything. I will still be leading on the summer and Christmas Fair at church and have plans for another Community Open Day 😊

It's just time to have a little bit of time for myself, as well....

Are you a National Lottery player?

Then our community sends you thanks. When you play the lotter a portion of the ticket goes towards the The National Lottery Community Fund.

This year they have granted us enough funds to continue to provide refreshments and resources to our community for FREE! In the current climate of rising costs we are super grateful that we can gift this to our visitors particularly during the school holidays when many people find it harder.

So thank you from all of us to all of you.

As you may know, the centre is powered by volunteers and we want to say thank you to everyone who has supported the centre over the last year.

The centre is now closed for parties and enquiries as it is our festive break. We will be back in action from Monday 6th January.

For regular, private groups, please check with your group leader as to when your group opens and closes.

We wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
