There was no chance that I wasn’t going to get Rose wafting that beautiful lace around…and with Eric looking like he wanted to eat her up (😅😍😂) it didn’t exactly become hard work getting these romantic pictures ❤️

Real film review : 5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ from Lilli & Jake when they got married at Inn on the Lake. I absolutely loved spending the day with these two and all of their fun family & friends. I’m so glad they love their film and being able to look back on their wonderful day in the Lake District 💖

MATERNITY LEAVE HAS STARTED // OUT OF OFFICE 💕
Just a reminder for those who may not know (although I don’t know how bcz I’ve definitely been going on about it 🤣) that maternity leave has started for me 💕 I’ll introduce my little girl to you all soon but for now I’m going to enjoy the bubble away from social media.

F*ck the algorithm 🖕🤣
I know we’re meant to be doing reels now (🙄🤦‍♀️😩) but there is NO WAY I’m turning this gorgeous film into a squashed up, short reel. It’s too epic for that - it needs a proper post and laid out horizontally 😅🤣😍
So here you go - Michelle & Sophie looking stunning & oozing love on their wedding day 💖 what a fabulous day it was & what fabulous girls! I couldn’t have enjoyed myself more on the day. This wedding was not only a huge shout out of their love for one another but also a massive celebration of the journey they’d already been through to get to this day. Girls - you bloody deserved this gorgeous day ❤️

que lots of giggles, holding hands and a few bum squeezes here and there 😝 in between all of their portrait moments with their photographer . We took Nicky & Rob for a 15 min walk around the grounds at and as quick as that: we got these gorgeous shots - leaving the rest of the day for some serious party vibes… more of that to come 😘

Getting the grandparents involved ❤️
How could I not set this little teaser to our bride’s grandad’s reading (which is actually a poem written by nan).
Wise words to pass on to Georgia & Rob - and worthwhile listening to as Grandad and Nan have been married for “over 2000 days”❤️

Grandad was originally meant to be doing a reading in the church where Georgia & Robert had intended on first getting married (but Covid had other ideas). To make sure Grandad still got his important moment on his granddaughter’s wedding day - nan wrote a poem for him to read 🥺❤️😭🥰
I can’t actually cope with how much this one got me. (Gosh I miss my nan & grandad).

Now THIS is exactly why I’m such an advocate for filming at weddings (even if it isn’t me!) - yes, gosh does the footage look dreamy (i mean Georgia looks just bloody stunning in this) but my word; having footage of Grandad’s voice reading out the poem written by nan, on the day of your wedding - I mean THAT is a memory to be treasured forever. I know I wish every day I could hear my grandads voice again 🥺💔

Tessa & Jon

When mum roasts you during your wedding speeches 😅🤪
Have a slight feeling that “fake tanning together” was meant to remain a secret 🤫🤣
Tessa’s mum absolutely made us all howl with laughter during her fabulous speech - I couldn’t not include it so I’ve selected a few moments. Tessa & Jonathan’s day was absolutely fabulous from start to finish and very emotional after waiting for this day to finally come. And once again I got the pleasure of hearing some fantastic, heartfelt (and a little bit cheeky) speeches.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all you love birds out there ❤️ (personally I’m dealing with a little one who’s had her 1 year vaccines today 😩😭 so lots of family cuddles for us) but a shout-out especially to my gorgeous clients who are celebrating their first one as a married couple! And to all those doing the proposing/ getting proposed to today - congratulations on getting to your best friend! 💖

🎥 Film Friday 🍿
I can’t explain how much I loved this wedding!
The speeches, the rain (rain CAN be absolutely fabulous on your wedding day btw), the commitment from everyone travelling from Canada 🇨🇦 to get over to the UK - this film just oozes romance & love to me, along with laughter and dear friendship. Have I mentioned the speeches ❤️
My lovely couple; these gorgeous Doctors, have worked so tirelessly during the last few years that it really puts me and my business struggles into perspective. I’m glad Vicky & Rob finally got chance to enjoy their well deserved wedding day here in the Peak District and I thoroughly enjoyed capturing it for them, alongside .What a stunning, elegant and joyous day it was.
On another note - I don’t think I’ve ever posted one of my longer 10 min films. 1) because I get so nervous still! Haha but 2) because it’s just not something you “should” do on social media - people want things fast with less attention. But really that’s kind of the opposite to what I’m about - I want to create elegant stories for the longevity, so that in 10,20,30+ years time you are still taken back to that very moment in a timeless way. So really, I suppose this film shows what I’m all about. And that’s definitely the love, the family, friends & those beautiful sounds ❤️

I could say “wedding business”, “we” or “this company” but the truth is: I’m a fun & creative camera lady wanting to capture your special day & tell your individual story. There’s me, my cameras & audio equipment (and often my reliable team of second shooters if needed), my drone too if wanted and my knowledge of being a bride myself - this is a very personal business for me, which I know is what's needed when taking care of your most special occasion. Taking on a select number of weddings per year, I focus on creating a film about you, for you. There’s not a lot of gimmicks, fancy transitions or tricks with my films - I just want to capture your loving memories so that when watching in years to come, they will still take you back to that very moment.
