Julie and Kev

This wedding was bloody fabulous.
Surrounded by people they loved and who adored them, Julie and Kev knew exactly what they wanted.

Looking out onto Fairfield Golf course they spent two hours with their family and friends socialising and then we gathered everyone together as to huge applause they walked in together. Their story was funny because they are, and then their vows were beautiful.

I always hold something back until the day - their words for each other. They hadn’t heard what they said about each other and it made everyone cry.

They adore each other. It’s as simple as that. Their children brought up the vows, the rings and the vodka and water shots to see who went first.

Then at the end after 5,6,7,8 the big band kicked in ! They were amazing !

Trends fade, food gets eaten and drinks drunk but what lasts is how you felt.

Be present and in the moment. Leave the ceremony to me. Just enjoy every second

Engaged couples! Here is my plea to you. Don’t follow trends. Soon your wedding will seem dated. Trends age. Having a wedding about you and your friends and family lasts forever. Focus on what you want to FEEL. Choosing a celebrant - that’s what we focus on.

This wedding!!!
Despite the searing heat which saw my mic cable melting and all the power shut off this was sensational!

🌼The processional was the best ever. They came in together and had their moment together at the back. A friend played on the guitar. All the siblings stood down the aisle singing a beautiful song and handing them flowers as they walked down the aisle. I was worried at one point that I was going to cry it was so lovely

🕙 a time capsule with letters from their parents and a bottle of whisky to enjoy on their first anniversary.
🎻 mum and a band of talented friends and family played them out down the aisle singing

What a day !

A night I will never ever forget. The casts of the shows from 2015 onwards coming back to celebrate with a surprise show. Just breathless with it. Thank you so much to everyone who had a hand in this 😍
