We’re back from hosting Ardacon so normal service is being resumed at the Golden Hall this week.

Open this Thursday evening from 5-10pm for casual gaming.

A gift from your Golden Hall hosts, all three of which are running the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Gaming World Championships at ArdaCon in Manchester City Centre this week.

A lovely community we're really proud of has been growing steady on Thursday evenings and we want to keep that going for you all.

We hope you can all make it. The mats are 4 x 4 and terrain fantasy but there are 123 table spaces, feel free to bring your own

‼️ Thursday Night Gaming ‼️

This week the Golden Hall team are busy hosting ArdaCon: SBG International, the largest Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game tournament IN THE WORLD!

Whilst that means that Golden Hall Gaming will not be open this Thursday night, we still have open gaming available but at a slightly different venue…

Where? 🧭 Come down to the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester for your casual gaming fix! We have plenty of tables of fantasy terrain AND you can enjoy some of the other activities going on at Ardacon as well!

When? 🕰️ From 5:30pm

How do I get there? 🗺️ There is ample parking at the Mercure however Piccadilly Station is just a short 10 minute walk away.

We hosted our first official Middle-earth Strategy Battle Gaming tournament on Sunday, with two dozen players battling it out at The Attack On The Golden Hall ⚔️

MESBG is a fantastic tabletop game set in a world we all know and love. If you'd like to give it a try or get back into it, it'll be easy for you to find opponents to play on Thursday evenings at Golden Hall Gaming.

There'll be two MESBG weekend events in September, a 4 game single day tournament on Saturday 12th and the brilliant 's hobby focused tournament, The East Road to Stock(port) on 26th-27th. Contact us for more details!
