Join us on Thursday 11th September as we celebrate the flower field’s fourth birthday. Wander the field at golden hour, glass of Black Chalk’s award-winning fizz in hand, and pick your own flowers as the sun sets over the Hampshire hills. Bring along a picnic, soak up the views, and make an evening of it among the flowers.

Those of you who have been with us since year one may remember our much-loved Fizz & Flowers evening — and we’re so thrilled to be bringing it back. This year, we’re partnering once again with our friends at Black Chalk, pairing their delicious sparkling rosé with the beauty of our late-summer flowers.

You don’t need to arrive exactly at 5pm, but we recommend allowing at least an hour and a half to enjoy the experience fully. When the sun has set we will bring the evening to a close, but we’d love you to bring a blanket, nibbles, or a picnic if you’d like to linger and soak up the views. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads.

Your ticket includes a welcome glass of sparkling rosé and our guided Pick-Your-Own experience, where you’ll cut around 30 stems per person from the flower field. Black Chalk will also be offering tastings of their other fabulous wines.

Head over to the website or click the link in the bio to book your tickets now. We can’t wait!

Step into the Flower Field

This month, we’re opening the gates once again for a series of guided pick-your-own sessions.

Set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, these sessions offer the chance to wander among the flowers and spend an hour surrounded by seasonal colour, scent, and movement. A member of the Featherstone team will walk with each group, sharing tips on how to harvest for the longest vase life and insights into how we grow here on the farm.

Your £35 ticket includes:
- Entry to a one-hour, timed session
- Around 30 freshly cut seasonal stems
- Use of snips & bucket on the day
- Guidance from a member of our experienced horticultural team

Bringing a friend? Non-picking guests are welcome to join the tour for £10.

Back in May, we had the absolute pleasure of creating the wedding flowers for A & R’s beautiful celebration at . Flowers were deeply meaningful to them and their family, and it was especially important to use seasonal, locally grown flowers from our farm.

The couple had visited Featherstone Flowers the year before, and returned a month ahead of their wedding to walk through the flower field with us—cutting as we went and seeing what would be in bloom. We also set up a mock table in the barn to help finalise quantities, layouts, vessels, and candle colours.

Three days before the wedding, we harvested the very best of the field in their chosen colour palette and style. With an unseasonably hot weekend forecast, conditioning was crucial. Many of the arrangements were made in the cool of the barn before transporting everything to Hamswell House the day before the wedding. The day itself was warm but perfect—and the setting truly stunning.

We wish A, R and their family all the very best and hope to welcome them back at the farm soon!

Our Story so far...

Heathercroft Meadow is a small-scale flower farm run by friends, Michelle and Jess. The idea for the farm was born in January 2019, inspired by a piece of land in a stunning location. Follow us as we go on our exciting journey from a mossy field to blooming pastures!

Flowers grown by us are freshly picked and locally delivered, saving thousands of travel miles. We grow in as eco-friendly a way as possible using organic methods and as low waste as possible. Flowers will be wrapped in biodegradable, UK made, brown kraft paper, plant ties will be natural and added to the compost after using.

What sets our flowers apart? Our flowers have a beautiful natural movement to them and they are full of scent. We also use grasses and seed heads in our arrangements making you feel like you’ve just been walking through a meadow. Because our flowers haven’t had to travel anywhere then we can give you something a bit special. They are cut straight into water and are as fresh as can be giving you the longest vase life possible.

In 2019 we broke ground, put up fences and began trading in July. We had a true abundance of flowers which our customers loved. We had a stand at Trout ‘n’ About, Stockbridges annual Food and Produce festival, ran 6 successful Christmas Wreath workshops in December and supplied flowers and arrangements to many people for their homes and special events.
