Really enjoyed making mini Willie winkie puff pastry mummys and puky Watermelon fruit salad :)

A busy weekend again and a lot of satisfied customers.

This weekend saw us at Aberfoyle Memorial Village Hall catering for the Aberfoyle & Strathard Book Festival doing a platter menu with lots of delicious sandwiches and wraps as well as some beautiful canapes.
Cant forget the beautiful tarts and mini pavlova made by my dear friend.

Yesterday saw us at another insane physical event but as a change of pace it was for runners 🏃‍♀️ 👏 instead of cyclist 🚴‍♂️
We were at the William Wallace Running Festival alongside to Coull Beans Coffee Trailer .
This was a simple but delicious menu of Vegan or Beef Chilli with rice, and pitta bread.
These were supplied to all the competitors who took part in the 50km or 70km race.

It was great seeing lots of happy (bit tired) people enjoying a delicious slow cooked chill on a miraculously dry day in Scotland in October.

We were rewarded on our way back from Stirling with the most beautiful sunset

It was such a great afternoon. I was honored to help the community fridge to get rid of their bread in freezers by turning nit to nice bread and butter pudding. I do hope everyone enjoyed it. I am looking forward to work with you again soon.

🙌 Lord Provost Elaine Watterson has helped the people of celebrate an important award from The National Lottery.

Strathard Community Trust has been given a grant of almost £20,000 to fund the continued employment of a development officer, who supports a wide range of volunteer groups in the local area.

The Lord Provost joined with residents and friends of Strathard at the Memorial Hall last weekend to pay tribute to the local people.

Elaine Watterson said: “The award from the National Lottery reflects the hard work of the development officer and the Trust, as well as the numerous volunteer groups who enhance the lives of the people of Strathard and surrounding communities.

“It was wonderful to meet with residents, hear about the great work going on in the local area and the amazing community spirit that underpins it all.”

As we slide towards winter, it's nice to start with comfort foods.
Last night for the family, i got to try a tester recipe for a private function later this year.
Pan fried pork tenderloin wrapped with prosciutto and served with roast baby potatoes and a creamy mustard sauce.

We have been asked by the food waste reduce fighters from
Aberfoyle Community Fridge & Larder to help them get rid of the massive amount of bread in freezers.
So this Sunday 28th September we will be in the Aberfoyle Memorial Village Hall from 1pm-3pm making some traditional bread and butter pudding, which you can eat there with a wee cuppa or bring your dish beforehand and take it home to bake it.
It would be great to see lots of people there, the weather is just asking for some warm bread and butter pudding

Another beautiful wedding Easterhill Farm Barns for two stunning brides. A mexican inspired menu with gluten free options and a focus on the freshest of ingredients. Guacamole and pico de gallo made fresh on the day by the team really brought the whole thing together.
3 different taco fillings consisting of chilli, tequila lime prawns, cajun mushrooms and braised spicy butternut made this a brilliant being involved with.
Congratulations to the wonderful couple from all the team at trossachs Gateway Catering.

Yesterday saw us with a small staff go out to a Very Big venue for one of the most beautiful weddings.

The bride and groom created with us a very bespoke menu that we absolutely loved.
A very classy wedding with a casual relaxed feel of a great bbq.

All this was served on lovely platters and plates from . Our first but not last time using this very eco friendly display and serving dishes.

Meat supplied as usual by our friends at Denholm’s Elite Meat

Unsung most popular treat of the event was the Marinated Pineapple Skewers.
