Happy Golden Wedding Anniversary to my incredible Mum and Dad ❤️ Each have inspired me countless times throughout my life. But never more so than with their commitment to each other. And complete dedication to the family they built together.

50 years ago today, they were married. My mum wanted a 6am ceremony. She had to settle for 6pm instead. Celebrating with 13 guests round the table. An unlucky number some might say. But they were always determined to do things their own way. And that has never changed.

A couple of weeks ago, I performed a wedding just steps away from their venue all those years ago. I could feel them with me then and realised I always take them with me into ceremony.

Because that's the goal isn't it? That golden glow ✨ Forever together 🥰

Love you both so much and can't wait to celebrate this weekend. And hopefully Scotland can help keep the party going 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🤞🏻 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🤞🏻

What a day it was on Saturday for Sarah and Gordon ❤️ ☀️ ❤️ A Glasgow glasshouse wedding, inspired by who else but Winston from Still Game.

It may have hit 37 degrees at one point mid ceremony and we had to pause for a wee water break but that didn't stop the laughs and tears.

We had a beautiful handfasting, with Sarah's boys helping us out. And a jäger quaich for the brave newlyweds first drink together. Huge congratulations to Mr and Mrs McInally 🥰

Such a beautiful day at Dundas Castle to celebrate Laura and Stuart ☀️ 🏰 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Rather than the 'Proclaimers promise' to travel 500 miles, this couple have gone 5000 AND 5000 more to be together. Defeating all obstacles in their path.

We had a gorgeous fusion of cultures: a hand fasting with bands representing different clans; alongside a Chinese Tea Ceremony where family blessings were given and received with such great joy.

A room full of happiness. Congratulations again Mr and Mrs Gray ❤️

And of course I couldn't miss a wee selfie with a llama just because 🦙

Ever feel like you must be bringing work home? Decorating eggs for rolling earlier and my girls designed a bride and groom and then someone to "read the book" for them ❤️ Bob and Polly's love story was fairly short lived however, as they were happily smashed down a hill not too long afterwards 🪺 Good fun was had by all though! Happy Easter everyone 🐣
